Raceface Rally DH Leg Combi

Rider Inspired Design: Design and input tested by Race Face pro riders Darren Berrecloth and Paul Basagoitia. Two-piece construction offers superior articulation and added protection in the event of unwanted ejection.

  • High Density Hard shell: Constructed of 85% Polypropylene (PP) / 15% Thermo Plastic Rubber (TPR), our custom moulded hard shell features a precision engineered matrix with reinforced dike system designed to absorb maximum impact and vibration across the shell.
  • Open Back: Offers maximum breathability on climbs, shuttles and descents.
  • 13mm Perforated EVA Foam: Premium lightweight, open cell foam enhances flow-through venting and moisture control and will not compress (i.e. ?thin out?) over time.
  • Tight Weave Mesh: Increased hole-density offers maximum breathability while finer weave increases strength, durability and reduces overall weight.
  • 600D Nylon fabric: Strategic fabric placement offers superior abrasion resistance in key areas. PU gel treatment increases water repellent properties.
  • Fit Specific Strapping System: Finer weave strap secured to locking D ring offers maximum strength when stressed. Slight modifications to the angle and placement of the straps offer better fit and function.
  • Inner straps feature soft brushed weave for next-to-skin comfort.
  • Woven "grab tabs" offer easy adjust with gloves.
  • Two Piece Elbow / Forearm Protection: allows for unrestricted articulation of the arm for greater comfort and control.
  • 13mm Perforated Foam: premium closed cell foam enhances flow-through venting and moisture control and will not "thin out" over time.
  • Fit Specific Strapping System: slight modifications to the angle and placement of the straps for better fit and function.
  • Open Back: offers maximum breathability on climbs, shuttles or descents.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great protection but you feel like ROBOCOP when you wear them. I am 1.86 and 85kg. I bought the L size. Slide down when i ride my DH Bike like all leg protectors. 25 May 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by 31 March 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by These are great, they saved my knee after a bad fall, fur great, you don't feel them when pedalling all in all generally great - only gripe which stops me giving it full 5 stars is that the way they have been packaged means that part of the top rubs against my knee, when wearing tights fine, but against skin it can rub. 18 January 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bought these again after reading the reviews given for this item. Bought Large and it's a bit too big for me but the straps really hold them together. Especially the cross straps behind the kness. Not much restriction on the movement but can do better. Ventelition is adequate considering the humid and hot climate in my country. Used it for XC purpose and it does deliver the much needed protection.... Hope this review will aid in your decision to purchase this item 16 December 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by i bought this product a couple of weeks age, and as a bigger guy i was worried about the size being to small i bought the large and they are fantastic. they feel awesome, i race bmx with them and they are not restrictive at all, very comfortable, i encourage you to get them too 22 August 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by At first glance these seem great, really tough looking, thick THICK padding for great shock absorption, and perhaps a little bulky. BUT, they just dont stay on. ive measured my legs and got the size that are supposed to fit perfectly (M). They are really comfortable with the little knee stabilisation pad on the centre of my patella, the 2 criss-crossed straps above the crease at the back of my knee and and the panel at the back of my calf all nice and snug and a good fit, but bend your knee 3 or 4 times and it slides down to the point where my knee is bent and the pad is straight because its slipped down to below the bend of my knee. Ive tried it loose, tight, too tight, loose at the top and tight at the bottom but the only way i can get it to stay up a little better is by putting the knee stabilisation pad behind my knee, but thats uncomfortable and it still only stays up for a tiny bit longer. After having a pair of Dainese freeride pads for about 8 years which worked perfectly, ive come to the conclusion that the extra knee stabilisation pad is absolutely useless and is the cause of the problem, perhaps. If CRC would offer an exchange on a useless waste-of-money item after using it, i would swap for another pair of Dainese pads. 01 November 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bought these to start DH training and have been well impressed. Any rigid protection will be an awkward fit for someone but these fit me perfectly. I first wore them for a few hours whilst working to "break them in" but it wasnt necessary. The moulded shin pieces are a perfect fit and the articulation at the knee isnt too stiff to walk around in for hours. The fitting system holds them in place without restricting movement or blood flow and allows a wide range of girth to be accommodated. The separate cross over straps for the knee pads are nice and flexible too and allow more freedom if unfixed uphill. Riding wise i could wear them all day and not notice them on, other than the thickness of the padding causing some heat build up but they are well vented and breathable so its not uncomfortable. So far as protecting is concerned: like the other reviews i have taken some big offs and just got back on and continued to ride. No bruising, no chaffing, no breakages and they stayed put too. Negatives: the taped edges will chaffe if you dont wear them OVER your shorts/leggings above the knee while riding and walking. They may also encourage you to take excessive risks, the protection is really that good. Well made, bomb proof: BUY if you value your legs, cant ride without them. 04 August 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by These knee pads work perfectly! They stay on through the roughest tracks and never twist. I've had them since February and have been using them almost everyday. They're also very protective. The knee cup is solid but comfortable and the shin pad is quite breathable. These are a lot comfier than any 661's I've ever used. 28 April 2010
