Ragley Marley Hardtail Bike

The Marley features our Ragley's new Trail Geometry and is the alloy version based on our the new Ragley Piglet. The Marley features a custom hydro-formed triple butted 7005 T6 series aluminium frame. Building on the success of their earlier Piglet Ragley have retained innovative features such as the 3 Finger Bridge and our Taperlite seat tube. The inclusion of ISCG 05 tabs hint at this bikes true intentions for getting lairy on the trails and hammering the descents!

The Marley uses the 44mm headset standard which permits the use of headsets from Cane Creek, Nukeproof and others to accommodate all steerer tube configurations. With the right headset, this frame can take a 1.125in, tapered or 1.5in fork. We recommend Nukeproof headset models - 44IESS and 44IISS (standard), 44IETS (tapered) or 44EEOS (1.5in steerer).

Ragley New Trail Geometry:

  • Their revised geometry retains a slack headangle of 67deg to provide impeccable trail manners when coupled with a mid to long travel fork. They have dropped the bottom bracket height to lower your centre of gravity and inspire confidence through the rough stuff with improved handling and stability.

Features:

  • Custom hydro-formed 7005 series aluminium
  • CE EN14766
  • "Three Finger" chainstay bridge is exclusive to Ragley, and allows massive tyre clearance so you can fit 2.5in rubber with massive chainring and tyre clearance. Happy with 36t middle rings and gives resilience to any attempted chainsuck/derailment. Bridgeless design gives better mud clearance.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value for the money spent I bought this bike two months ago and it is really great. It handles great and it is fast. I have used on trails and some dirtjumps. Everything I have used this bike for was great fun. I'm used to ride street/ park and I needed a bike for trailriding and so on and it has really done the job for me I removed the front shifter and planing on putting i 34 t sprocket on. I also cut the handlebar a bit. About two centimeters on both sides. And switdh to a more comfy saddle. I have a 30 min ride to my nearest trail so I need a soft saddle. Anyway buy this bike!! It is great fun and it can really take a beating down some rocky trails. It is an "all you need" bike. 11 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sweet ride I've had the Marley now for a few weeks and I LOVE it. It's quick, very quick and at the discounted price is ridiculously good value. There are a few things I will change. As one of the previous reviews says the SRAM X7 shifters aren't as quick as he'd like, i'd agree with that so i'll change those in due course but it's not holding anything up. I'll change the saddle as is a little uncomfortable. I'm a larger rider and in truth, that's me nit-picking. I'm not the most experienced rider, most of my riding is commuting however the Marley has given me a lot more confidence when I do get chance to go out and take on the Purbecks. 17 February 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nimble and responsive, but I wish I'd seen the paint job in the flesh So far I have only used the Marley on my commute but it climbs well, handles well and has a good riding position. The cockpit is well laid out and the wider bars certainly aid this. I instantaly changed the shifters though. I found the X7 shifters sluggish and too time consuming when thinking about shifting. There's no click into gear, so I put a set of X9 shifters on, much better. I will leave the stock wheels for the commute and have bought a second trail set. I am finding the brakes (Elixir 1's) somewhat rough. Even in dry conditions there is a lot of feedback and grinding, the pads are brand new. I also find there is a lot of fork sag under braking, so wil need to readjust the pressure as this could be an issue on the trails, I don't want to go over the top. But the pressure guide is on the Sektors is what I put in it. Ultimately though I think I wil have the frame resprayed. Online, the colours looked more understated. In the flesh the Jamaican flag colours really burn out your retinas and I have gone off the colour scheme completely. The decals look good, as does the rasta pig, but with the colours on the frame twice and on the saddle, it's a little overpowering. It's personal taste I know, but I think a new colour is called for, on an otherwise great little frame. I might look at component upgrades in the future. 04 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by amazing such a well specced bike for the price, amazing paint finish and rides so nice, the best hardtail trail bike i've had to date, long time keeper!! rides exceptional; small rear chainstay makes lifting the front wheel effortless, no nerves when going at speed and is comfy on the bigger AM stuff :) 26 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by simple and effective This bike really reflects what mountain biking is to me, enjoyment and pushing the comfort zone. you could go out and spend a small fortune on a top end full sus with fancy components and carbon frame that you would be afraid to scratch. or your you could buy one of these rip up some trails, pin it into corners and fall off pushing your limits. 19 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Value for money This wee bike fly,s down the trails, jumps well, easy to flick about and loads of torque from the pedals to the back wheel. Handled a DH track really well, flew over the table tops. the shocks are really good qaulity. Im x DH rider and this bike is so much fun. 04 January 2014

Answer:
Our bikes are supplied from the manufacturer without pedals to give the rider the choice on what the bike will use.

Simply add pedals to your order when placing it and they will be processed at the same time.
