The Piglet 2 features Ragley's New Trail geometry yet retains their innovative features such as the 3 Finger Bridge and ou Taperlite seat tube. The slacker than average head angle and inclusion of ISCG 05 tabs hint at this bike’s true intentions for getting lairy on the trails and hammering the descents!
The Piglet still uses the 44mm headset standard which permits the use of headsets from Cane Creek, Nukeproof and others to accommodate all steerer tube configurations. With the right headset, this frame can take a 1.125in, tapered or 1.5in fork. We recommend Nukeproof headset models - 44IESS and 44IISS (standard), 44IETS (tapered) or 44EEOS (1.5in steerer).
New Trail Geometry: Ragley's revised Piglet geometry retains the head angle of 67deg yet drops the bottom bracket height to lower your centre of gravity and inspire confidence through the rough stuff. When coupled with a mid to long travel fork, the improved geometry results in impeccable trail manners, handling and stability which should see you go up, along and down faster than ever before!
Custom 4130 heat treated, triple butted chromoly.
CE EN14766 Certified.
"Three Finger" chainstay bridge is exclusive to Ragley, and allows massive tyre clearance so you can fit 2.5in rubber with massive chainring and tyre clearance.
Happy with 36t middle rings and gives resilience to any attempted chainsuck/derailment.
Bolt on Cable guides located on the underside of the top tube allow for neat and tidy adaptable routing to suit your set up.

Got this bike and mostly all new parts from crc about a month ago. I was planning on a straight steerer fork but ended up with a tapered since all the others where sold out. I ten needed a different headset than what i ordered so i turned to my local bike shop since i was anxious to ride. they said id have it in less than 2 days. three weeks later nothing. back to crc got it in less than a week. now done and able to ride. just like it says. total blast. i had so much fun on this little piggy. it hadles great pedals wgood and decends with the best of em. I full well know its not the best bike money can buy but i havent had this much fun on $300 dollar bike since i was a kid. moral of the story buy on as a great second bike or a fun trail machine and always buy from crc so there is no let down

I have had two of these frames both where replaced before i could even ride them because of faults. The first frame had gouges on the inside of the seat post from where it had been machined and not finished. On the second frame the IS mount was not parallel with the rotor. Both of the frames i received had some cosmetic complaints and the welding looked sloppy, however i didn't see this as a massive problem but some people would be unimpressed for the price. I made my order on the 19th of April Its now the 1st of June and i haven't even been able to ride the frame. Whats worse is now the frame is discounted 10% and frames with paint chips on the ISCG tabs where being sold for ~£90 less. Both I think and defiantly the first frame i received had paint chips on the ISCG tabs. I am waiting for my third frame now hopefully this one will be ok.

Just finished building up my 16" Piglet (green) and have taken it out twice. Nice finish out of the box and not ridiculously heavy - complete build with 125mm Fox 32 RLC, 1x10 Zee drivetrain with chunky bashguard, XT wheelset and 2.25 tubeless Nobby Nics is bang-on 12kg. Very solid, buttery smooth ride quality, tasty slack geometry and the little piglet in the graphics has a dummy. What more could you want?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Haven't finished building this up yet, but frame (orange) looks great and build quality appears to be good. Not a great deal of instructions with it though, still trying to figure out how the bolt on cable guides are supposed to work. And just a quick word of warning, the rear brake tabs are IS mount, like the picture, not post mount, like the description would lead you to believe. I'll update this review if anything big comes up during the build.
