Ragley Stubbing Evo Stem

The Stubbing Evo stem is the evolution of Ragley's old design, into a lighter and stronger package. Like its predecessor it is forged and CNC'd from a solid billet of 7075-T6 alloy, the Stubbing stem is designed to hold your bars securely whatever moves you're pulling. With a Lock-Down clamping mechanism, the top of the bar clamp locks shut, and tension for bar clamping is taken care of by the two lower bolts - avoiding any problems with uneven tensioning across the faceplate.

Three lengths but only 5mm difference between each let you choose the exact right length for your bike. With 50, 55 or 60mm to choose from, you can see we encourage short-stem use, with a matching wide bar being a great complementary addition.

Features:

  • Forged and CNC'd from 7075-T6 alloy.
  • Anodised for durability and Aesthetics.
  • Lock-down top clamp for tensioning precision.
  • Weight: 160g (50mm).

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 Brilliant product I bought a fork that later turned out to have a very short steerer. Oh dear. Bike forums recommended this stem because it has a 30mm stack height , this was confirmed by Ragleys customer service team within two hours of asking them by email. 30mm stack height was enough to safely use my new fork. Happy days. Quality is fantastic, I love this thing it's almost a work of art !! Light, solid and good looking. Perfect in my opinion, I couldn't be happier. I got it at a discounted price too via chain reaction. 03 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great colour and matches my trek :) Bought this as my old stem was too long and I didn't have as much control. Buying this was a great decision, it looks great, provides me more control, and again just goes with the colour of my bike. Definitely recommend this. 26 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Average price, average weight Ok so at €50 quid or whatever it's not madly cheap, but it's not madly expensive. And it's a pretty average weight too. But it looks AWESOME! Admittedly I bought it as an aesthetic feature, but it was well worth it! As for those who have a problem with stripping threads, just use a torque wrench to be safe. You can get them for, like, €30 quid and they'll safe you from messing up your bikes and parts. 25 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Consigliato Molto ben realizzato, esteticamente molto gradevole 20 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 Stiff enough but no lightweight Stiff enough for enduro but not the lightest stem on the market. Good anodization, looks great on the bike! 19 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by very valuable, nice look, but weight 190g(60mm) My blug pig bike fit awesome. very nice look and feel. but weigh 190g(60mm stem) 12 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very stiff, no slippage and reasonably light. Great stem. Holds my carbon fiber bars perfectly. No slippage with spec'd torque on the bar or the steering tube interface. 07 August 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Its ok I wasn't overly impressed with the lack of packaging, Zip tied to a piece of card looks cheap. Machining quality is a little poor, the anodised finish is good, but it does not cover up poor machining finishes that a paint would possibly have done, All this aside its relatively cheap, and functional very stiff as you would hope, and more than adequate for the task, but if you are picky about visual quality, not the best by a long shot 11 July 2014
