Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value well built frame for not a lot of money! If your on a budget and want to build a good trail hard tail you can't go wrong at this price, solid, well built and light frame, geometry suites UK trails. Built my bike using rockshox forks with 120-150 adjustable travel works great! 16 November 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Frame is outstanding The frame itself is incredble for the price. it is very light and well built and i purchased two that me and a team mate have built up to race next year. the angles of the frame suite well and you can sit in a really comfortable possition and if your put a Fox shock fork on it they handle increadible. would recomend this to anyone. 25 October 2013

Answer:
The Ridley TrailFire frame will need a 31.6mm seatpost along with a 34.9mm seat post clamp. This diameter of seattube will allow the use of standard posts and if you want dropper posts.

I bought this frame, now looking for a headset. What kind of headset is sure to be used with this frame?
The description for this frame says ZS44 is the one. Most headset found by searching for keyword ZS44 doesn't seem to fit in this one. The shape of this head tube rather looks like semi-integrated 44/50mm.

Answer:
Any standard 26" 1.18" MTB rigid fork will be suitable. But i would be aware that the geometry has been designed around suspension forks, therefore I'd go for a minimum of 450mm axle to crown.

The 17" frame may be a little on the large side for a 5'6" female.

A 17" would be suitable for a 5' 7'' - 5' 9" female.
