These forks have a 43mm Rake and the fork leg is constructed to a gradual curve.

The steerer on these forks is 1 1/8" diameter.

Answer: 
This fork will require the use of the crown race which is intended to pre-load the bearings in the headset that is fitted to the frame.

This is a standard mechanical requirement when fitting any fork to any bike frame; otherwise bearing life will be considerably reduced and damage to the fork crown may occur.
