I've tried both of the WCS versions and prefer these ones. A others have said, these are so much better than lock on grips. A lot softer under hand and really hard wearing... until you have an accident, where they're fairly easy to tear. I race XC and long marathons and don't think about my grips at all. The way it should be. Combined with my minimal Troy Lee Design XC gloves, these are a good combination that let you maintain feel from the gloves and comfort from the grips.
Am keen to try some silicon grips to see if they're any better, but can't see how they would be.
Get them on with hairspray, remove them by inserting a thin screwdriver and spraying more in. Although, I've still torn them doing this.
Bar ends are useless, I just throw them away and reuse ones that fit my bars. Not ideal, but the plug design isn't very good.

Comfy grips which last a good while. Been using these things for years and would not use anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Spin2Grin Durable foam comfort
These were my first pair of foamies which I put on my dual suspension mtb. These grips made an immediate difference to ride comfort, and my hands feel so much better after a hard mtb ride because of them. They really take the edge off compared to conventional grips, and being a bit more chunky it feels like there is more to hold on to on the rough stuff.
I've had these grips on my bike for close to 9 months now and they show very minimal signs of wear. I used methylated spirits to slide on this weight-conscious pair (without the lock-ons), and it was no trouble. They haven't moved since.
Not all foam grips are equal, but these are good ones. I had originally purchased a pair of different brand from my local shop and returned them when I got them out of the packet and found the foam to be too dense, hard and scratchy. These Ritchey grips have a really nice plush feel - high quality foam.
After buying these I'm now a foamie convert...they are light, cheap, durable and most importantly really save the hands.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Good price but the comfort was a killer. Both my son and I have tried them and both agreed the same. Downhill the contour meant that the base of your thumb was screaming sore. Too fat and also seemed to heat your hand up more than others. We both run wide carbon bars that soak up bumps , but not with these grips. Ritchey has great stuff , but sorry guys these are not to be raced or riden a great distance on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Excellent grips
I have wide hands and when using lock on grips my hands will sometimes touch the collars which I find uncomfortable so I decided to get these Ritchey grips.
The fit well and do not budge when fitted with a good amount of hairspray. I was very surprised as these are the most comfortable grips I have ever used.
They are very soft and soak up the road bounce well and are much nicer to hold than rubber grips.
I'm not a fan of ergo grips so if you may find the ergo version are for you.
