RockGardn Flak Base

The Flak Base hosts the shoulder, bicep, elbow and forearm guard protection, as well as shoulder adjustment straps. "Cheater" straps between the bicep and elbow pads allow for more exact positioning of the elbow/forearm guard protection. Thumb stirrups keep the elbow/forearm guard section from sliding up in a fall. Upper chest features a cut-in of Spandex mesh for added comfort when worn directly against the skin.

RockGardn Flak Base fitment:

The dividing line between S/M and X/L is a chest measurement of about 41". Measure your chest by using a tailor's tape (the soft kind), going under your armpits and over your pec muscles. If you don't have a tailor's tape, use a piece of string, then measure the string length with a conventional measuring tape.

If you're at the boundary between sizes, look at your basic body shape. If you have a very "V" shaped torso, go for the S/M. If you have a straight torso, and particularly if you have wide shoulders and/or big biceps, go with L/XL.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Way to small I used the sizing chat provided and it ended up being way to small. I'm only 5 9", and 150 LBS and I could even get the zipped done up. I couldn't wear it and had to return. 04 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great sizing, light weight im 6 foot 7 inches tall and have the l/xl, the arm length on this suit is just perfect, very snug fit, love the thumb loops which add to the secure feeling, quit light weigh, good range of motion, the elbow pads are super comfy and cup the elbow just right, the body part of the suit is snugg and tight but find it a bit irritating on my skin so would defo wear an under layer of sorts, the adjustabilty straps are ok but a bit fidly at first, overall a very good protection suit and a great fit, i would reccomend this to any downhiller/freerider as its not too hot and heavy 10 February 2014
