Rated 5 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
28 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Amazing... Amazing performing fork with an unbelievable price tag, Having chucked these down and over anything I see I love how smooth they still are 6 months later. Performance wise I would say they are the best forks I have ever had the pleasure to ride. They are not as tuneable as the higher priced forks but the simplicity of them is why I purchased them. I have not had any problems with them so far and not being the smoothest rider I was expecting something to happen but nothing so far. Absolutely love this fork and would recommend people consider this over some of the higher priced triple clamps !... 29 November 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME I put these things on my scott voltage fr30 which as you all know should turn it literally into an fr20 geometry wise...anyway these are amazing, they look so good with a nukeproof warhead direct mount stem can't thank chain reaction enough for a great price and super fast delivery as usual, thankyou chainreaction for everything that I have ordered which is a lot, all my protective gear, all my jerseys and other clothes were bought right here here as I recommend anyone reading this to do so! 09 January 2013

Answer:
Generally the Boxxer fork is supplied with both the Short Crown (standard) and the Tall Crown for personal adjustment should it be needed.

The Short Crown option comes with the short variant only.

Answer:
Going by the spec on their archive site (http://www.norco.com/2007bikes/temp...) the Atomik was running 170mm travel forks with a 20mm axle, so these should still be ok although you may find that the increased travel steepens your head angle slightly.

Answer:
Your 2012 Norco Truax 1 is designed for use with a single crown fork. The use of dual crown forks like the Fox 40s or RS Boxxers could result in frame damage. I would suggest contacting Norco direct as they will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Answer:
This would likely not be a very good idea; this bike is primarily a trail bike and not designed for Downhill riding and 200mm of travel. A triple clamp fork could damage the headtube and/or crack the front triangle of the frame.

However we are not a GT dealer and are simply applying 'intended usage' to this query.

For more advice you could try contacting the manufacturer directly.

Answer:
Not being a Specialized dealer I have no way to confirm, but I believe the 2010 Big Hit frame ran a standard taper (internal headtube diameter should be 34mm uppe and 49mm lower). If so, to fit a straight 1.1/8" steerer you could use the Hope Upper Cup Type 1 and Lower Cup Type D (linked below).

Answer:
Running this fork in the suggested bike would be mechanically possible; however note that it will push the already very slack head angle back even further.

This will slacken the cockpit, increase high speed control and reduce responsiveness. Other attributes unknown at this stage may also be effected like rear shock performance for example.

Answer:
Your bike will be able to fit a Short Crown option of the Boxxer forks that they are looking at. A Tall Crown option may be needed for frames with a headtube length longer than 150mm.
