Technologies:

  • Dual Flow: Suspension shouldn’t pack up in rock gardens or buck after big drops. That’s why Dual Flow incorporates independent damping circuits, allowing separate rebound speeds for big hits and small ones. A user-adjustable knob controls the beginning-stroke (small-hit) rebound, and a factory-set ending-stroke (big-hit) rebound creates the perfect suspension for whatever the trail (or park) throws your way. Now tuning your suspension for your unique needs is as easy as a clockwise or counterclockwise turn. In the RockShox world this is clicking toward the turtle or the “jackalope.” Featured in: Totem, Lyrik, SID, Reba, Revelation, Monarch.
  • Motion Control DNA: Who doesn’t want more? As a mountain biker, more might mean more rocks, roots, and descents. More also could mean switchbacks, single tracks and steep ascents. The various configurations of Mission Control DNA were designed for those who want more out of their ride, and need more out of their suspension.
  • Power Bulge: When you need your forearms to be stronger for more control, you bulk them up in the gym. When you need more durability from your fork, bulk them up with our Power Bulge. Other companies just increase the stanchion size adding extra weight. Power Bulge simply reinforces the lower leg to allow for an oversized bushing, increasing stiffness and maximizing your ride.
  • Solo Air: Solo Air is like a Buddhist monk. Its enlightened design lets you add air to your forks through a single Schrader valve, filling both the positive and negative air spring chambers simultaneously. So they’re always in perfect equilibrium, like Yin and Yang. Giving you a plush, predictable ride you can set up in seconds, with the lightest weight air spring on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent So Far!! I purchased this fork for my 2013 Kona King Kahuna Racelight Carbon Frame Hardtail. Fantastic addition to the bike. Lightweight, functions excellent, looks great. Everything is in the box, the suspension pump, a seal rebuild kit, bleed kit, & compression nut. I used an FSA Compressor Adjustor instead of the supplied one, just preference as I had a choice between the two, because I was unaware that one was included so I ordered the FSA. ***Do Not Use A Star Nut*** I weigh over 200lbs, the fork soaks up the roots, and bumps. No steep descents yet. Trails & XC Anyways...... 22 July 2014

If you have a 44mm headtube you can fit a tapered fork by using a 44IETS headset such as that listed below.

Answer:
No, The 1-1/8' x 1-1/2" Tapered Steerer will only work with a tapered headset of the same dimensions. I have added the Headset used on my SID WC XX Tapered Steerer under recommendations for you.

If it does not show up I have the: FSA Orbit 1.5 ZS Headset (No.57)

Answer:
Essentially, the only real difference is that the World Cup edition has a carbon crown and steerer, while the standard XX version has an aluminium crown and steerer. This results in the World Cup edition being around 80-90g lighter than the standard version
