I didn’t really mean to stick to this brand when I was looking for the decent gloves,
but they looked pretty nice on Criss Akrigg, I decided to give them a try. I didn’t
know the exact size for me as they usually all defer from each other of the each
different brand, I just chose size M, which was the only one available in my favorite
colour. Fortunately, they turned out to be perfect, fit me like the second skin The
measurement of my palm is about 21cm and I usually choose size S, but size M
seems OK with this brand.
The grip side is consisted of the artificial leather in beige, with the reinforcement
of the same material at the lower palm. With enough stitches, it will probably last
untill the glove itself tears apart. The surface of this artificial leather will be fluffy
after a few rides and it looks really shabby. I used a razor to shave it all off and they
look OK now. They have tiny holes all over the palm for ventilation, but I don’t know
if they are effective as I sweat too much to notice it anyway. The plastic-like white
logo marks are printed at the tips of the pointing and middle fingers, probably for
more grip, but they came off after a couple of rides. It doesn’t matter anyway.
The upper sides are made of soft and comfortable elastic rough mesh, which really
helps to breeze out the humidity. The Velcro tapes are OK, not too bad, they work.
The upper side of thumb is attached with black towel-like material, which is quite
helpful when you wipe the sweat on your forehead or anything around your eyes or
even running nose (really).
The only down side is that they are a little meanly made, which you will find when
you turn them inside out. All the materials are just cut off without any treatments
and just sewed up, with the unnecessary threads left untrimmed or whatsoever. I first
didn’t think it would be that much of trouble, but it was. Some part of the stitches came
loose after a couple of rides and I have to sew them to mend. (Well, it won’t be a trouble
if you take it as a normal maintenance). I only use them once a week or less and I think
you had better have another pair. If you keep using these too often, they will probably
wear out pretty soon.
They look really nice and neat, feel quite comfortable to wear, helping to grip better.
But then again, you surely need lots more than just gloves to ride like Mr. Akrigg.
(Well, I know)

have had these gloves for a year of riding every day and just ordered some more. very durable and comfortable. I would normally order a medium or large but with these an extra large fits perfect

Not too bad. A little heavy for hot climates. The closure strap is a bit fiddly. The terry towel on the thumb is OK (is it left for sweat, right for snot, or the other way around?). Quality seems fine. Not entirely sure about the rubberised stuff - the logos and knuckle guards. I'm used to using the back of my gloves to whip away sweat or whatever - these guys don't roll that way. A small niggle, but enough to knock em down to a 4. Probably suited to XC in temperate climes.

After 3 times the velcro /rubber strap came loose. Nothing some glue can't fix, but still, it didn't supposed to have happened...
Overall great fit exept for the wide wrists. Those are a bit loose.
Perfect ventilated and good grip.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous These gloves look great, and are very durable (having lasted for over a year). I bought them specifically for the added protection on the finger-tips, which prevents the tips from splitting (a problem I've found with other gloves).
However, the sizing seems to be bigger than the previous pair of Royal (Pro) gloves I owned and they've become a bit baggy.
Try a couple of sizes when you buy (ie. buy two and send one back).

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous great gloves for short period but are break
these gloves are good for a short period of time but i found after a couple of months having these the logo peeled of, they ripped at the side of the glove just randomly and they alos started to rip where there was stitching. :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Poor made, cheap feeling gloves
After reading the five star reviews here, and the offer CRC were doing I thought I would give them a go. My other choice was Specialized BG Ridge glove but at twice the price.
Stitching is poor, and can see this pulling through the material in no time, the wrist cuff is just baggy and poor design rubber vecro closure. Finger tip grips just rub off after an hour of riding. But the worse is the inside finish of the seams. Everything just overlaps and comes to a fussy finish just at the Hypothenar. My hands were numb after an hour.
Some products you just need to get from your LBS!
