Royal Drift Shorts

Tough enough for all kinds of all-mountain riding this is’ the go to’ short when planning an epic day in the dirt.

The Drift short features fully perforated Cordura, designed to keep you cool whilst still being durable. A great bike park and all mountain short. The Drift, like all our 13 collection can me mix and matched with any jersey from our range.

  • Sonic perf 600D fabric with 2 years of testing gives full ventilation, so no more sweating before you have even started your ride
  • TPR waist adjusters
  • Screen printed graphics
  • Internal waterproof back panel - no more wet underwear
  • 2 hand pockets, 1 waterproof reverse hip pocket and 1 thigh pocket all featuring reverse tape zippers
  • Double snap waist closures so only your bike does the drops and not your shorts

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Falling apart These shorts look great, they're light and well vented, with nicely located pockets. Sadly however, they've fallen apart on me after one week in moraine. The Velcro on the waistband has come away from the belt, so flaps around (as mentioned by another reviewer, s this is obviously an issue). Worse than that, the fly zipper has broken as well. a real shame as otherwise they look great. 04 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Durable and comfortable shorts for gravity / all mountain riding These shorts are very comfortable and durable. Great for all mountain / gravity style riding but may get a bit too 'heavy' for cross country rides, or really long all day epic rides. The only thing I don't like is that the plastic waist straps have pulled apart from the adhesive velcro bit, so have plastic flapping around the waist which is a bit annoying. I guess fabric adhesive will fix this... They do have a great side pocket to fit your phone or multi-tool which is really convenient. Despite the waist strap issue, I still recommend these shorts and will likely buy another pair in the future. 28 June 2014
