Rated 5 out of 5 by Great light weight summer shorts Really impressed with these shorts. The graphics on them looked superb (diagonal striped grey/black). I am a 32 waist but I still ordered a large. A medium would have probally fitted slightly better as they were a little loose. Thanks to the adjustable waist though I managed to get them fitting snug. They are a fairly thin and light yet soft material in comparison to some of my others, which is what I was looking for. They don't feel plasticy or abrasive to your thighs and knees. I am looking forward to riding with these in the summer to see how much cooler and more comfortable i will feel. The thigh pockets have vents in them which is a nice touch. Double popper closure on the front with a neat small metal hooking thing to stop them popping open. These shorts DO come with a padded liner too. The only concern I have is how light and breathable the material is. I dont think they would come out very well if you crashed and slid along the hardpack and roots for a good time. Fortunately i haven't got round to this test yet. In all, a really good set of summer XC/Trail shorts 04 September 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great shorts but a let down Comfortable and just about the right fit. They don't slide around on the saddle and don't get *too* hot. The inners aren't too bad now that they have stretched out a bit. Sadly the zips have all mostly failed which is a shame - I've had them now for 6 months. They're worth the sale price but I wouldn't pay full price for them. 09 August 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pants, terrible knicks. I'll break this up into two parts. The pants, and the removable cycling shorts with chamois. The actual pants are great. Light, strong fabric. Adjustable waist. Stretch panels where you need. Plenty of pockets, some with zips. Quality zip, clasp and studs to keep them where they belong. Maybe a tad too long. Im 6' and they are longer than my knee when sitting, which can lead to very minor knee chaffing. The removable cycling shorts: Remove, and throw away. Easily the worst knicks I've worn in 20 years of cycling. The chamois is good. The actual fabric is bad. Some harsh mesh-like substance, but the worst is the stitching. Big thick stitching along the chamois and multiple panels will itch and annoy the hell out of you. Luckily you can remove them in 10 sec and put them in the bin where they belong. 08 May 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not bad, not what I thought they were These were lighter weight than I thought. Overall they are descent, they fit length and width true to size, but the leg size is a bit snug. The material is very light weight, so not for DH or free ride use, also the stitching on the inner short at the waist band is sort of scratchy. There are better shorts out there for the same price range. 14 April 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by First of all the size is off,I ordered a size bigger than the sizing gide showd me and still a bit small.I am 31" and ordered a Medium size(size chart shows Small for 31") and the Large would be Ok as well.So anybody is buying ,go one size up minimum. Other thing is the poor finish. The pocket was hollow, bad quality.Third thing is the liner :the liner that comes in a Medium short would be all right for a Small sized person. 11 April 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by I use these pretty much every day and mostly they're great; they work well with pads, are comfy and so far I have had few problems with them. My one gripe is the zips - one or two of these seem to be starting to stop working well already, and I'm worried that this will be a bit of an issue in the future. No other reviewers seem to have had this problem so it may not be a universal problem, but it's been annoying me. 11 April 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb fitting shorts After trying various shorts these are by far the best I have owned, nice and light material, loads of stretch panels, comfy liner, what more could you ask for. I liked them so much I bought another pair for when my orignals wear out! 15 March 2013
