Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty speedy offroad tyre I picked up a pair of these to use on my hybrid for riding wet, muddy trails over winter. The grip is excellent on most surfaces, not too great on hard, wet surfaces (tarmac, concrete etc), but not bad. Grip on mud is especially good. They roll fairly fast for what they are, obviously they don't roll like 23mm slicks, but what do you expect? Not too great on roads either, but again, this isn't what they're made for. Overall, a great offroad tyre. 19 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for winter if you can't put winter tire on your road bike because they are too large. 13 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Upgrade I switched to these after a couple Cross races running 2.1" Panracers on my Yeti 575. It was a huge upgrade in the Portland mud. If you enjoy riding a 26" Mountain Bike in Cyclocross then you NEED this tire. 01 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great "snow" tyres for my wheelchair These tyres are excellent on my wheelchair, allowing me to deal to the packed snow/ice/slush on the sidewalks, curb cuts and streets of Montréal. 29 November 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pneu excellent pour le cyclo-cross Pneu excellent pour le cylo-cross ne convient pas aux roues de 650. 11 November 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Slow roller I fitted a pair of these tyres to my mountain bike for commuting through some forest tracks to work, the tyres did their job ok in the dirt and are resonably grippy and light weight. However my cummute to work is now on tarmac and I have noticed these tyres do not roll well at all on the hard stuff. However they have proved to be very puncture-resistant. So for off-roading ok, for tarmac they're a bit to draggy. 26 May 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cool Puncture resistant, excellent rolling 18 January 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Punctures Purchased this (30C) for the front and a CX comp for the Back. The fit on my velocity deep v's was scary loose. No levers or strength required to fit and remove them. Had to adjust the tyres mid inflation to make sure they stayed on the rim properly. Lasted Four short laps before it went flat (quickly), pretty sure it was the tube working its way under the bead. Fixed it (race was over), had the same thing happen on my way to a christmas party three hours later. The bead had a kink in it when i arrived. I prefer the CX Comps for this reason (although they are suited to harder packed conditions). Its a little dissapointing considering only days earlier i was struggling to fit schwalbe nobby nics onto my 29er mtb. Had to stretch those, just to get it on. Schwalbe has great tread patterns but inconsistent quality control. Not sure i'll attempt to race on it again. 04 December 2011

Answer:
For a 29er rim, the 28" tyre would be required.

However for this tyre to seat correctly your rim can be no wider than 19mm.
