Schwalbe Durano Plus Road Bike Tyre

Maximum puncture protection for race machines! The Durano Plus has a SmartGuard belt for extremely effective protection against penetration punctures. The strong, highly elastic, special rubber layer is not as thick as in the Marathon Plus. Nevertheless it has a level of protection unparallel in racing cycle tires.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Durable These are great tires, light weight and no punctures yet! 15 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by hard to put on the rim, hard hard to puncture, confortable Very hard to put this on the rim, but feels very confortable and looks like it is very hard to puncture. I'm using only these on my road bike, 700x23c. 08 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Product I have had these on my MTB and now on my road bike in both 23C and 28C. They are solid tyres that keep sharp objects at bay. I have not worn any of them for more than 6 months and it would appear there is still lots of life after 1600 miles. Grippy in the wet. Had 3 punctures in 6 months, but not disappointed with that performance. They are also obviously more comfortable that other 23C's, as the rubber puncture protection underneath actually reduces vibration through the bike. The 28's are obviously slower that the 23C's but provide solid grip and low tyre pressure for winter commuting. 01 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good puncture resistance for good price While it is possible to puncture this tyre, e.g by running over a screw, it is a very rare event and few tyres have puncture resistance this good. I have had no issues with grip. They seem to wear well. For these features, the price is good value. Rolling resistance and weight is ok, considering this is not a racing tyre. Quality and finish is good. 03 October 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great commuter or training tyre Very happy with the Durano Plus as a training tyre. I find it does have a slightly higher rolling resistance compared to a racing tyre so using them for time trails or other racing events will not yield the best result. But for anything else I can highly recommend them. I encounter a lot of glass and other sharp debris on my cycling routes. These tyres are not 100% puncture proof but when you dig out large pieces of glass after a long ride with the tube still intact you know it's money well spent. They are a bit tricky to get over the rim but you only have to put them on once in a very very long time. 15 September 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Commuter tyre I Bought a set of these for my commute along a motorway with lots of debris on the side, I have done over 4500klm so far, and 1 puncture. the tyres are about 1/2 warn so I think I will get between 8 and 10,000klms out of the set. They are fairly light and roll well, they also have a good amount of grip in the corners with the Dual compound. 28 August 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Durable Tyre Have just completed the first 1,000 KM with one of these on the rear wheel and it is holding up very well. I commute across Dublin and regularly crunch over glass and other nasties, so far with no punctures. Having used cheaper tyres for years I'd come to expect a puncture every few weeks - these are definitely worth the extra few €€! They roll nicely and give decent grip even in the wet. 06 July 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Highly recommended When I first bought my cross bike it came with the stock CX tyres. When I got my first puncture it gave me the push to put puncture resistant tyres on it, so I went for Marathon Plus as they are all but indestructible. The trouble is they are also heavy and having ridden a couple of other bikes I wanted something lighter. That said when I rode narrower tyres without puncture protection the tyres didn't last long - I trashed a Continental GP4000 within 15 miles and another lightweight tyre punctured within one mile. Enter the Durano Plus. Narrower and lighter than the Marathon Plus they roll faster, feel grippier, and still have puncture protection. The protection isn't as thick or as heavy as the Marathon version but so far I've put several hundred miles on my Duranos and not had any trouble. Based on how they've worn I'm expecting to get a few thousand miles out of them. 12 June 2013

Answer:
There would be much difference between the 'Schwalbe Durano Plus Road Bike Tyre' (Prod45443) and 'Schwalbe Durano Plus Performance Road Bike Tyre' (prod83215) except that the 23c/25C version of the 'Schwalbe Durano Plus Road Bike Tyre' would be Folding while the 'Schwalbe Durano Plus Performance Road Bike Tyre' would be the Wire versions.
