Rated 3 out of 5 by Den77 Не подходит для зимы, ненадёжны

Rated 5 out of 5 by alduffy Outstanding grip and surprisingly low rolling resistance
I bought this as a front tyre to replace a hard compound nobby nic that was supplied with new my bike and didn't inspire much confidence.
I had a little trouble getting these to blow up tubeless straight out of the box but once they'd had a little time with a tube inside them pumped up OK, and haven't leaked any air since.
They blow up pretty wide and with the number of knobs on the surface I was expecting them to offer a little rolling resistance but was pleasantly surprised to find them rolling along nicely with very little additional effort.
Grip on the trails is phenomenal - I ride a mix of trail centre and loamy forest singletrack and am loving the confidence in the front of the bike with this tyre.

Running TrailStar up front and PaceStar rear, tubeless on Flow EX rims gives insane amounts of grip on nearly all surfaces. Drop your pressures low for best results (23, 26 for me) and these take slippery rock, roots and modest gloopy mud totally predictably. I find I can brake and push on more than my previous Rubber Queen 2.2 tyres which were my previous favourite. Not really as durable as the RQ (now Trail King) but the grip and stability is truly confidence inspiring. No problems as yet with sidewalls slitting even on sharp slate and gritstone so are definitely on the list for re-buying when these wear out. One of those 'great' tyres for proper mountain biking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BikeLust Great all mountain/enduro tyre
These work very well in all conditions and inspire confidence, especially in the wet. Relatively light for it's weight and lots of traction without too much rolling resistance. I will say this, stay out of the park with them. 2 days at Whistler and my trailstar/pacestar combo (pace on rear) were well chunked up and several knobs ready to let go. They seem to hold up fairly well when riding outside the park.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stevie73 Great all mountain tyre
Had a few tyres in my time but think I've found the one for me. Climbs well and the grip is fantastic on most surfaces apart from loose gravel when its slides a little but its noticeable and easy to control. Otherwise excellent. Expensive but if your in to all mountain riding this is a great tyre.

Rated 4 out of 5 by loc81 Way more pros than cons
I've been running the entry level Hans Dampf 2.35 for over 6 months on my AM hard tail and they are a great tyre. I ride XC and AM and my local trails are pretty rough and plenty of sandstone.
- For such a big tyre the weight is quite low.
- Loads of grip! Very soft compound. Take them anywhere!
- They seal up tubeless easy and never had any burping.
The only downside is to keep them light they are quite thin so rocky trails tend to wear out the sides quicker than a regular tyres- the snake skin on these should help in that department but at these prices they are still my top choice even if I get less use out of them before sidewall blowouts.
I can also recommend the Nobby Nics 2.25s should you want to trim a little more weight.

Have only been running this tyre for a month, mainly on muddy forest trails and one of the centre lugs has ripped off, leaving a hole through the casing. Tyre is now useless, pretty poor considering the price tag

These are great tires for grip, they really hold on on loose surfaces and mud. With these I was able to go DH faster then ever before.
But these are really resistive tires, pedaling resistance is very high and I noticed the rolling resistance massively.
Also the tire wear has been quicker than I expected.
Even so 5 starts just because of the massive grip levels!
