Rated 5 out of 5 by RidgewayRider Excellent Grip! Schwalbe have an excellent tyre with the Hans Dampf. More grip than a tight fisted orang-utan during cornering and over obstacles both in the wet and dry, a little loose on gravel but it’s more than controllable. Rolling resistance of the TrailStar compound is quite high and certainly noticeable on roads, but on the trails it’s certainly not a problem that i have noticed. Easy to fit without tyre levers, but these 2.35 do pump up wide, so be sure to check you have clearance in your bike frame before you purchase. Cannot comment on durability at this stage, but based on a few trail rides I am impressed with this tyre and would buy again. 05 February 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Den77 Не подходят для зимы Брал эти покрыхи для зимы, так как катаю утоптанные тропинки в Битце. Что могу сказать: в принципе нормально держит укатанный снег, нормально по рыхлому снегу и каше, хорошо едет по сухому и мокрому (даже жирному от реагентов) асфальту. НО практически не держит обледенелые дорожки и естественно вообще не держится на льду. Из особенностей могу отметить что сильно дубеет на морозе, вообще держак и проходимость сильно зависит от давления в шинах (приходится в зависимости от твёрдости снежного покрова либо чуть подкачивать, либо чуть сдувать, так сказать искать компромис между держаком и накатом. Несмотря на то что считаю эти покрыхи очень хорошим вариантом для лета, не рекомендую брать их для зимы: сильно дубеет при минусах и даже трескается. Мои потрескались при -18С. У меня обе покрылись трещинами по всей длине с двух сторон (вероятно по месту соединения более мягкого компаунда центральной части с более твёрдым составом по бокам). Фото трещин прилагаю. Так что на зиму остается брать Schwalbe Ice Spiker Pro и не морочить себе и остальным людям голову. 23 January 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by dotty94 awesome tyre i am using this tyre as a front tyre on my giant reign. i ride fairly aggressive on some pretty rocky slippery tracks and this tyre as just eaten up everything i have thrown at it. it gives yo so much confidence to lean into a corner at speeds you normally wouldn't. i have also compared it to several other tyres and this is definitely the widest 2.35 tyre i have seen. 26 November 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by drewpeacock Grip! If all you want is tons of grip this is the one for you, build quality is first class too, the snakeskin protects the sidewalls well, they don't seem too heavy either and they go on and come off the rim without the need for levers. 18 November 2013

Climbs well and the grip is fantastic on most surfaces apart from loose gravel when its slides a little but its noticeable and easy to control. Otherwise excellent. Expensive but if your in to all mountain riding this is a great tyre. 19 October 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by buzz Loads of grip These tyres are fantastic for grip and make a great front tyre. (I run the pacestar on the back) Brilliant in the mud and over wet roots. Excellent tubeless setup. They don't roll the best and make sure you have the clearance as these tyres to blow up big so there is a danger they will run. 30 August 2013

Answer:

The Max tyre size for the Reba forks is 2.4" which can vary slightly between manufacturer inflated width and whether the manufacturer has calculated the tread into this measurement.

The 2.35" 'Hans Dampf' will clear the bridge on the Reba forks, however it may make contact on hard corners and drops; so a 2.2" wide tyre is recommended for all round use.
