Rated 5 out of 5 by Best front tire- simple Had this on the front of my bike for 12 months now and out of all the tires I've tried over the years this is by far the best, just grips in anything (uk lakes all mountain mud, rocks, loose stones#. I've run tubless all this time and not had any issues with the tires #or rips) side walls have suprised me at how tough they have been. Not the fastest rolling tire but its worth the drag up for the grip down!! 23 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Endless predictable grip I ride mostly in loose dirt & dust, with some hard pack and wet stuff throughout and this tire is excellent in all conditions. I've been using the trailstar compound and it's sticks like glue to almost anything and when it does start to let go, it gives you a nice predictable slide, rather than just letting go and disappearing from under you. My only regret was riding like a numpty on my second ride with it and punching a rock straight through the tread. Not the tires fault, nothing would have stood up to that, this tire however has accepted a rough & ready home-made patch over it's 1cm gash and continues to deliver great performance. 06 November 2013

Answer:
Hi, the trailstar is a narrower tyre(2.25) than the super gravity tyre(2.35), the trail star is also lighter than the super gravity tyre, therefore making the super gravity more of a downhill tyre.
