A touring tire that can do everything. That was the ultimate goal
of our R&D technicians when they developed the first of the Marathon Evolution tires 4 years ago. With an HD Speed Guard and
RoadStar Triple Compound it offers the same outstanding qualities
in puncture protection and wet grip. LiteSkin sidewall. Folding tire.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Love Schwalbe
Got the Marathon Supremes 700x35 about 500 miles ago to replace Marathon Racers that had 5000 miles on them. They are a bit slower than the Racer but a nice tire. In terms of durability you can't beat Schwalbe. This is my third set of Schwalbe tires on my touring bike, the previous two sets went about 5000 miles each. I have had two flats in total over that time, a piece of wire did one, and a screw did the other. They just seem to roll over the little pieces of glass and thorns that normally flat other tires.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous to Paris and back to Cph
Early summer May 2011 I mounted these angels on mine and my beloved girlfriends MTB' and we cycled to Paris from Cph. That is a 1400 km distance on these tyres, packed cycles with camping equipment on cycle backs and a bobyak. Most of Germany on gravel roads/tracks - believe it or not- NO puncture at all! It blow my mind, especially because I had brought 1 extra tyre and 4 tubes as back up all the way to Paris and back again, to my regret and luck not to be used. I've pumped the tyres only twice during this adventure.
These are the definition of supreme. I really recommend these!
and i'm glad that now these are offered as 700x28

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous about 3k on mine, two flats, one was a pinch and the other a large staple through the side wall. one time heard a clicking noise, when i stopped there was a large shard of glass in the tyre, but it didnt get through the belt. looks like a bout another 1500k in them still

Changed the 700 x 23c's off my road wheels that are on my vintage LiteSpeed MTB frame and added these which I felt looked a bit more authentic with the bikes heritage. I have created a balloon bike! My cruise speed has gone from 35-40km/h on flats to about 28-35km/h. I care not. Looks cool and very comfy. When I want speed, I'll jump on my TT :)
Getting a pair of BigApples 26 x 2.35 for the wife's MTB commuter on the back of this discovery into "boing boing".

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Tough and Durable
They last well and are tough. I find them a little sluggish though as I seem to have to pedal a little harder, even when pumped up hard. However if it's durability you're looking for, you can't go far wrong with these.
