In a class of its own. All round favourite and for many years a serial winner of MTB tyre tests. Why? Nobby Nic is unbelievably versatile. The tread offers unbeatable control in any conditions. This astonishing performance makes it a true "Allgrounder".

Rated 4 out of 5 by Andy1506 So far so good
So far so good, no punctures.
Good traction in mud and peat, with the wet weather.
Not bad road wise, gravel and grit, bit on the slippy side.
Would by again

Rated 4 out of 5 by Josh90 Decent Grip
I was struggling for grip / durability on my new hardtail and have been running the 26 version of these on my full sus for 2 years with no real problems so decided to buy these for the 29. Same great performance, different wheel size.

Still early stages, comparable to Panaracer Rampage and Maxxis Ignitor.

This wheel does it all which comes in handy with the nordic climate. One day it's rain, the other day it's frost and on the third day it's nice and sunny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Wins every time for a reason
There is a reason the Nobby Nics win every time they are reviewed by magazines. Because they ARE that good. They are super grippy, yet also fast rolling. I wouldn't swap these for any other tyres, and I use these for both off road and on road use. They are one of the few tyres that I do trust in any conditions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous A hard compound and relatively tall knobs makes this a pretty unstable and unpredictable tyre for anyything more than leisure riding, especially on the front. I'd suggest anyone looking at this to spend a bit more on the Evolution series. That said, it's fast rolling and pretty light. It also grips very well in medium/loamy conditions but beware on rocky/gravelly surfaces and anything wet (especially roots and rocks).
