Rated 4 out of 5 by 28 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by 3 years of ownership Fast tyre, grip is excellent. Only problem is flats - it is extremely weak. I have managed to repair my inner tubes around 6...7times. 08 June 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by mixed feelings I have been using these tyres for some years now, and I have mixed feeligs. They have good grip, good rolling resistance, and more "good". They are a "good" tyre. I have used them through towns, into the wilderness, up some mountains, in the snow, on ice, pretty much everywhere. I trust them, that much. However, the sidewalls are easily damaged, and then you are screwed. I have replaced the tyres 4 times. True i get many km on them, but i am not impressed that the treads look very good but you have a big slash on the side from some small stick. Forcing you to change the tyre. I have now opted to try out some different tyre sets for everyday use. They are also relatively prone to punctures from glass shards, and small sharp objects. For races though i am very happy with them =) 24 February 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by I really (really!) like this tyre, but the model CRC is shipping is the older version from 2011 (tread HS 391). The older tyre has less transition knobs and is a lower EPI then the current tyre (tread HS 425), and schwalbe quote the new version as having "30 grams lighter, 20 percent less rolling resistance" The old model CRC are shipping is still good, but I expect to be getting the current version unless the item listing says otherwise (clearance etc). I am emailing support, and they say all their stock is the older model. 09 January 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by fast but not Tubless ready!! Purchased this tyre a few weeks ago and Shwalbe state this is Tubless ready, however after 3 days of persistence and a couple of cups of Stans tyre sealant this tyre did not seal! The sidewalls continually leaked from different locations on both sides and I ended up having to stick a tube in it! No problems with the Nobby Nic I purchased at the same time so i'll put this down to a defective tyre I got stuck with. Still feels faster than the crossmax it replaced! 13 August 2012
15 May 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tire! I have been using this as a front tire for 1 year and it's definitely all the money worth! Buying this tire you get a tire with very low rolling resistance and the stud on the side you will not lose your grib when making a fast or sharp turn. Never failed me once! 09 May 2012
