Real racers always want to improve by getting better and faster.
Result: We radically revised Racing Ralph for the second time -
with PaceStar Compound and a completely modified profile.
29ers have a much larger contact area. For the first time the
arrangement and proximity of lugs on the new Racing Ralph have
been specially adapted to this greater contact area. It emphasizes
even better the advantages of a 29” - rolling resistance and grip.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dodger Puncture really easily
2 punctures in 3 rides, not particularly challenging terrain, not impressed. Light weight, not great grip up hills in the wet and on leaves. Maybe it would be happier on the road.

Get the snake skin Schwalbes. Still very light they are well designed fast and wear reasonably good.
Tubeless the bead well and if anyone has had any issues with schwalbe tyres going tubeless they need to see where something wasnt done right. Stans and schwalbe havent let me down yet and i do all my tire seating and sealing. Never a problem yet once i knew what i was doing

Rated 4 out of 5 by Murphy86 A good choice for a rear tyre
I swapped out a LUST Ardent to this tyre on the rear of my Tallboy LTc. Running Tubeless.
It's faster rolling and still very grippy especially on climbs and when leaning the bike over, I'm happy with my decision however I do notice some wet spots after riding on sharp rock but other than that have held up great so far.
Did I mention they are fast!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous What a difference a tyre makes
Bought this to replace the Indian made Conti X-Kings that came with my 2013 Norco Revolver 2. The Contis were less than impressive, maybe the Black Chilli compound is a better option for a tyre that many rave about. The RR pace star evo on the rear with a Hans Dampf trail star on the front has been a revelation. Rolls beautifully, very grippy and climbs like a trooper. Highly recommended.

I have had these tyres for about 6 months had a lot of trouble getting the tyres to latch on. the back attached ok but had to send front one back which CRC kindly replaced Have installed new one with a tube - to chicken to try again tubeless now the back one is covered with tiny holes which "stan's" leaks and fails to seal
Forget these tyres

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Lot heavier than specs
I bought them to save some weight for 100km races. According to Schwalbe they should weight 640gr. One is 640gr and the other one is more than 680gr.
Next time I’ll buy the Race King where I get 2 for one. The thread is ok and I don’t feel a big difference to my current Crossmark. Riding mostly sand, gravel and rocks.
Love my UST Crossmark, but a bit to heavy for racing, but good for everyday riding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Great all all round race tyre for dry conditions. I've had mine on front and back for about 6 months now. They perform beautifully and hang on better than the Specialized tyres my Epic came with. No issues with sealing them up tubleless. Great tyre at the right price. Can't wait for the 29er Rocket Rons with snakeskin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Currently, THE, tyre to ride
Another Alice Springs resident in Oz, get almost 800km out of a pair of these which is pretty awesome! Used to be on the Crossmark bandwagon, but the ralph's are better in every way. In comparison, the Rocket Rons are ~ 100g lighter but show significant tread wear after two or three rides. Side wall protection is also very good.
One star off for high cost.
