The most successful competition tyre. We made it even more merciless: lower weight, lower rolling resistance, better grip. It slices through terrain with its ‘sharkstooth’ U-Blocks that make it grip much more aggressively, particularly in curves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Photodrug Good tyres for dry weather
Bough it on discount, instead of Panaracer Fire XC Pro. Was ok until the Fall. Not good on wet road. Bought Panaracer finally =)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zenith Great Preformace tyre
Strong Sidewalls, I have done about 800klm's on a pair of these and they are just getting to the ends of their life.
No punctures at all.

Hey fellow bikers! If you like spending your hard earned money on a tire that lasts exactly 5 rides and is rendered useless by the amount of sidewall blowouts and slashes within the tread, then this piece of crap is for you! Great tire if you ride it to the grocery store, not for ripping trail...especially in the great Canadian Rocky mountains! Maxis I'm coming home!! P.S. the site forced me to give this tire one star

Had these on my Cube Reaction GTC Team when I bought it,Fantastic for high speed on fireroad and double track but on my first ride on lose rockey trail I had a pinch punture so bad it tore a hole in the tyre! They are so thin the side walls are like paper.A good tyre if you want super lightweight fast rolling race tyre or you are a Schwable team rider and dont have to buy them haha,Maxxis High Roller XC for me I think.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous great tread shame about the compound
I followed the U Control and run a Nobby Nic on the front and a Racing Ralph out back. Make no mistake the tread on the Ralph is awesome through sand, gravel and rocks, but the compound is soft and the sidewalls are very vulnerable. I have put 120km on these tyres at best and the sidewalls collected three cuts one which is terminal and had Stand pissing everywhere! Utterly torn now, love the tread loath the compound – ugh!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous UST Tire Weight
For those weight conscious parts buyers, note that the Racing Ralph. 2.1, UST tires weigh in at 620g on average. I have a digital scale that doesn’t lie. I expected them to be at least a 100g lighter, according to the claimed weight. That’s a far cry from the claimed 410-520g.
I have not installed them yet to check performance (it's currently winter her in Alberta, Canada!).

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous I have recently had a bad experience with this tyre. Just received new pair of RRs, I had decided to do an enduro ride, about 70km between two cities, 40% asphalt road, 20% well shaked after Jeeping mud, 3% forest (put bike on shoulder), 37% hard gravel road with variable inclination. Then, at home, I found a big cut on the side surface of front RR tyre.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Great tyre
Tough sidewalls and a comfortable ride on 2.25s. Grip is good on dry and not awful in the mud either. Downside is UST 2.25 is a heavy 720gms.
