Science in Sport, leaders in sports nutrition, introduces the world's first isotonic energy gel. Each handy palm size GO Gel sachet contains 25g of isotonic carbohydrate energy. That's enough energy for 20 to 30 minutes of exercise, and because it's isotonic, it will still deliver energy without the need for extra water. What's more the unique gel structure of GO Gel goes down easily, so you don't get that sticky throat feeling associated with other gels.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cadenceminge Zero fructose energy
If like me you can't stomach high fructose energy products while working hard, then these are worth a try. One of the only mainstream products that has zero fructose. Maltodextrin may act slower but it suits me better
Plus, it has less 'taste' and is almost a liquid
For me, it's the only gel I can consider during a race or hard efforts

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Best by far
I have tried many gels and this one I find is the best. They are slightly more liquid based than a thick gel like other brands I find this is easier to swallow and does not always leave you gagging for water straight away. The only negative is the top is very hard to rip off nearly takes your teeth out. It's worth it when you do eventually get in though. They can be expensive if you use them regularly. Great price and excellent service as usual from Chain !

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Great
I had some samples in Blackcurrant and Orange and although the Blackcurrant tasted ok the orange is much nicer.
Whilst running I take my first one at 10k and one every 5k after that. I find taking them to be both refreshing and within the next 1k I certainly feel the energy boost. I recently bought a box of them from CRC so cheaper than buying individuals.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous just a random thought
ive been using maxifuel gels and im just curious to know what the real difference between all the gels really is?
apart from taste - dya think the end result from any of the products differs radically ? they all seem to offer pretty much the same, from an energy output point of view...
think im gonna go with this one for a while though

I've tried the Gels because my riding mate is a big fan but I can't make my mind up on them because the taste was a little unusual

This is not a bad product, they did the job, not too bulky so they sat in my cycling jersey pockets fine. The only let down was the taste

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Excellent product, highly recommended
This gel provides a very noticeable and very quick energy boost within minutes of taking. I never ride without it, although you do need to take a sachet around every half an hour to an hour on hard rides, hence it's not long lasting but is very good for instant energy, downside is it can get expensive if used regularly. Ideal if you need to improve fitness and stamina levels over a short period of time while training for an event.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Tastes good, not too sickly like others
I had one of these for a recent triathlon, it does not taste too strong or sweet like others I have tried. For strenuous activity they recommend one every half hour which would cost a bit too much, I just use them as a supplement.
