SDG Aliso Cro-Mo Saddle

Named straight from Aliso Woods – a popular SoCal trail with steep climbs and steep descents. The Aliso is a modern spin off of the classic Grand Prix model, blending a minimalist approach of the Fly and adding technical elements of Circuit MTN, which ultimately gives the support desired with a narrower width design.

The Aliso uses a Polypropylene base material, featuring an Under-Cut relief and incorporates a Light Weight PU foam for superior comfort, topped off with a 3/4 Cut for further soft tissue release.

Riders take full advantage of the Nose Platform, which provides a greater surface area at the nose for comfort and power that aides in pedaling larger travel bikes up seated climbs.

The Aliso is a mountain specific tool for various dirt disciplines and is available in a textured Microfiber top with Kevlar protected sides and offered in two traditional railed options.

Features:

  • UNDER CUT BASE - A hidden base cut-out which works with the light density foams allowing extra relief to soft tissue
  • FLAT FORWARD SNAGLESS DESIGN - Reduces pelvis rotation and adds mobility
  • NOSE PLATFORM - Nose platform allows greater surface area for more control and power transfer

Specifications:

  • WEIGHT: Cro-Mo 305g
  • DIMENSIONS: 270mm x 134mm
  • OPTIMAL RIDEABLE AREA (ORA) : (90 - 130): Small - Medium
  • DISCIPLINES: Mtn (XC, Trail, Enduro, DH)
  • MATERIAL: Black Microfiber top w/ Black Kevlar Sides

Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfy and cleans up well I've use this saddle in white and grey for a while and found it very comfortable.I was a bit unsure about having a white saddle but it seems to clean up very well and keep its colour ok even after a mud splattering out on the trails.Sure its not persil white but its pretty good! Good value and the usual good quality you expect from sdg. 06 July 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by good for the price but get the titanium one! I've owned mine for about a year now and have recently suffered a catastrophic failure of the rails, they didnt snap so no injury! However that said, excellent saddle for the price, the kevlar side panels are super abrasion resistent so you won't tear your saddle, but i'd recommend going for the Titanium alloy for extra strength on the rails, good comfortable ride, definatly not for the larger buttock though! 25 May 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great saddle This was great from day 1. It replaced a saddle without a v groove, which was giving my tailbone a beating while cranking on bumpy singletrack. This one has sorted the problem and couldn't be better! Sit bones have enough padding for comfort without it being too soft for longer rides and the nose is wide enough for perching/climbing without damaging the jewels! The blue black check design is sooo good if you can get it, the cover is smooth so wipes down well... I sprayed waterproofing on the fabric sides and I blast it with the p. washer after a ride and it looks like new! Can't believe I put my ass through hell for years. I know saddles are a very personal choice, but if you ride regularly and your sit bones are toughened, you would be very unlucky if this saddle doesn't suit you! 19 May 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by great saddle comfortable and a good shape. it's vey well made and with the kevlar sides it won't rip when you crash. i have the black one but that blue and black checker design is super nice! very good price as well 10 June 2011
