Rated 4 out of 5 by XCMan Fairly light I Beam specific saddle for most MTB uses
This is the I Beam specific seatpost that works with SDG I beam type saddles. It is fairly light, so think hard before spending extra on the carbon version.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MarkofLeamington Light seatpost, but clamp not great
This is a good, long seatpost, and sturdy. It's also light, and by shortening, could be lightened further if you are weight conscious.
However, the clamp on my particular post does not loosen properly and requires some hammering to unbind. Which is a pain.
That said, when tightened up in the correct posituion with the saddle, it works well. Mine might be a rogue example.
You do need an I-Beam saddle, which I guess is obvious.

Rated 5 out of 5 by POAH not much you can say about it
its a seat post that is easy to adjust, not too shabby on the weight front - my 400mm 31.6 weights 268g although I shaved 30g by cutting off 70mm as the post Is too long for my needs.

Ojo, solo vale para un tipo de asiento muy concreto.

Rated 4 out of 5 by danmxr good quality if you don't need extra lightweight
I've needed to buy this because I have SDG rail saddle, so it works well. It's srong enough and I like an offset, useful for suspension bikes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Needs to last a bit longer
Got this Seatpost about 18 months ago, have used it a lot but it has just given up the ghost. Cracked up the back meaning the head came loose, luckily without any injuries as other people have mentioned. Nice and light, also good adjustment. For someone who is quite light (and doesn't try seat bumps on jumps) it will work very well, otherwise probably get something else

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous A literal pain in the a*se
Been using one of these for 3 months and just had the head shear clean off while riding unthinkable singletrack. I had to ride 6km back to my car with no seat, have a huge welt where the post stabbed my in the thigh and pedal pin holes all over my shin. Avoid at all costs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Lay back post snapped off
Lay back style post sheared off at the swan neck after a few hundred miles. Good weight and design but not recommended for mountain biking. The non layback design is a stronger unit and I have used one without problems. The I beam saddles are very light and seem to stand up to mountain bike use just don't recommend this lay back style.
