Thermal Rating Explained:
We design and engineer the entire range of products so there is something suitable for all weather conditions. Naturally, how cold or hot someone feels is relative to the individual. We have developed a thermal rating system, graded from ONE to FIVE to indicate the relative warmth of our products.
Products with a thermal rating of ONE are lighter weight and/or thinner and suited to warmer conditions or more energetic activities, such as running. Products with a thermal rating of FIVE are heavier weight and/or thicker, these are great for cold, extreme conditions and are suited to less-energetic, static activities, such as fishing and shooting.

Got these as a birthday gift, my wife having read lots of reviews. They are very warm in cold weather, too warm in mild weather. A very nice fit, snug with a double layer inside and they come up your wrist and velcro shut but quite a bulky glove, you have to take them off to do things like answer your phone, get things from your back pocket. Mostly good so far however, waterproof they are not. They seem fine in light rain but in heavy rain they do get completely soaked. If you then have a puncture, as I did, and you take them off they are very difficult to get back on, because of that warm double layer, which isn't quite so warm when soaking. So a mixed review, on balance I wouldn't buy these out of choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sirokko

Rated 4 out of 5 by SteveC Nice and warm
These gloves are nice and warm and you can feel the difference compared to the SealSkinz all weather gloves I also own. Only drawback is that they feel uncomfortable at the base of the thumb, probably due to the gel pad there. I hope they just need breaking in more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by longcanadianwinter Decent down to about -15C
I was looking for some winter gloves for commuting to work in Calgary, Alberta. I cycle down to -35C so these will be put to a good test. First impressions out of the packet were good. Gloves look well made and put together. They fit tight initially (I followed the siding guide on the website) but after a few uses they loosened up and are a good comfortable fit.
This week the mercury plunged to between -15 and -20C with wind chills as low as -30C a couple of days. These gloves handled this reasonably well although I did find my fingers getting really cold as I descended hills. I found that once I stopped and rubbed my hands to get circulation restarted plus got on some flat my hands were warm again. On the way home exerting more effort uphill and in temperatures around -15C they were nice and warm.
Bottom line: These will do you very nicely down to about -10 to -15C. Below that I plan to use a pair of pogies with these gloves inside and am very confident that will nice and warm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Steve823 Not good!
I've used these a couple of times now in temperatures from -1 to 5 degrees C. Firstly... they are NOT even remotely water resistant. Your hands will definitely get wet. On the plus side, provided you keep the gloves on, they act like a wetsuit and do actually keep my hands warm. But if you have to take them off, to change a tyre for example, then you're screwed. The gloves will be like lumps of ice by the time you put them back on. They are also pretty bulky so you definitely loose some feeling of control and will struggle to do anything fiddly with them on.
As others have said, the lining is also prone to getting tangled.

Rated 1 out of 5 by mule So much hassle
The gloves seem warm enough though I haven't warn them below 7 deg c. The issue is the lining when your hands are warm they pull the inner layer out with them which then bunches up and twists in the fingers. so a quick top to check phone or change a puncture is extended by 10 mins of faffing to get the gloves back on.
