I have used this saddle since the 90's, and many others along the way. I will always go back to this one and have it on all my bikes, road, fixie and mountain.

I am reviewing not the normal Flite - I have the 1990 original Flite, the 1991 Kevlar sided Flite, the Flite Alpes - and....the Flite Evolution carbon!
My review is going towards the Evolution because, after good adjustments and precise height adjustment, this is for me, the most confortable Flite ever.
Saddles must have minimal padding, but they must be flexible. For instance, I have an original SLR Transam, wich has minimal padding and is a very confortable seat.
The Evolution, was a great surprise. It's a minimalistic saddle, with a thin shell made of carbon fibre and supported by titanium rails. The shell is so thin that flexes in the right places, being that the only place it does not flex at all is near the nose. All of this in conjunction with the titanium rails which absorbs very well the road irregularities, does provide a unique "saddle experience".
I use it for years in my road bike, no matter the type of riding I make - training, commuting ( without padded bib shorts ) , long or shorts distances, no numbness and everything in place and "healthy down there ". The "touch" for my seat bones is hard - remember, no padding - but the flex of the shell dows provide that " forget that the saddle is there " feeling.
Must be noted that my tires are also very supple - Veloflexes open tubulars - which helps for the overall confort on the bike.
Modern carbon fibre saddles are very stiff.
The Flite Evolution, is a far better "riding with confort experience" in a saddle that has years of advance to the other offerings and which has become a reference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous The Best Saddle and Nothing Else
Recently I purchased this from CRC which arrived in Singapore sooner than I expected. I mounted and took it for a ride. It felt exceptionally comfortable even for long rides. At one time my riding buddy wanted me to check out his Storck bike and so I did. So we swapped bikes for about 30 minutes and in the end of the test ride kept praising my saddle. Thanks to the 5 star rating given by truthful reviews. My choice was never wrong at all. Great one CRC!

I've used Flites (basic ones not gel etc) for well over 12 years and I'm just needing to replace one of my two Flites not because it's uncomfortable but just because the nose is now torn!
