Rated 4 out of 5 by Great buy I don't know why everyone is being so flippent about this saddle,ok it's ABIT on the expensive side but I found it a great companion to my posterior,my wife on the other hand wished I paid the morgtage that month instead of buying this.oh well. 06 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Belissimo I have seventeen of these, one on my Honda Fireblade, one on my WC, fourteen just dotted round the house, the other one I have converted into a bird table. I used to have a San Marco bird table but speaking to a few crows and robins they all prefer sitting on this one, and indeed one tit will be entering the Tour de France next year using it. 01 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent upgrade My daughter's Islabike was a bit on the lardy side and that's not ideal for starting out. I bought this saddle and some lightweight wheels and it's transformed her performance, she now drops me on every hill. 29 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 I can fly! Having read the reviews and ordered my Selle SMP Full Carbon saddle from Chain Reaction, I was SUPER excited when the post man knocked on my door. Before I attached it to my best friend Griff, my trusty Raleigh Grifter, I decided to try it out for seat bone fit. Well.. no sooner had I placed it between my legs and I began to rise up into the air. I glided from my living room, through the kitchen and out the front door rising higher and higher until I found myself perched on the branch of a enormous tree eating mooncakes with a strange fellow called Moon face. Highly recommended. 15 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Spiffing! Similar to the previous reviewer I also tried several cheap saddles prior to settling on this particular model, it was very comfortable despite being a bit weighty. I bought three of them for each of my Raleigh Choppers, the black colouring went well with the overall colour scheme of the bicycles. The saddle is laterally stiff yet vertically compliant, a definite five star rating. 24 June 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Simply the best! Like many I was sceptical about the performance of such a saddle, but once fitted to my Raleigh Activator I simply could not believe the difference it made! People would stop and stare in the street as I pedalled back from the shops in record time. My bike can now climb hills, I no longer have to push it, and when I get some air off the kerb it positively floats back to the ground. Some say it's crazy to spend so much on a saddle, but when it's this good you'd be crazy not to! 10 May 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great value I have tried various saddles for over 50 years, mansfield bath road, brooks (various), original unicanitor (60's)- san marco etc etc-but this really takes the biscuit! Having been released from being 'sectioned' I thought this would be super value-initially it's a bit like spending the night with the household cavalry-but with a bit of care and a tub of 'bum butter' it's ok for a long ride of say 200/300 metres-wonderful stuff & miles better than a san marco regal @ £55! 02 May 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great deal! After getting my Raleigh Lizard at a bargain price of 30 pounds,I was left with some money to use on upgrades...First thing I bought was this saddle...How it has transformed the "Lizard"into a top class ride..I just cant stay off this bike after buying this saddle. 21 July 2012
