Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dose the job Good quality. I use a full 105 5700 set up and works like a dream. Ive had it a while now and is still almost as quiet as when i first got it, now it just makes a slight click very occasionally. was easy to fit and came already greased up. 19 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does exactly what it is supposed to. I use a full 105 5700 groupset and bottom bracket for my bike is Hollowtech II. Ive found the 105 bottom bracket to be bombproof and for £9.49 its astonishing value. The BB30 type bottom bracket is a notorious creak maker and I will be avoiding those like the plague and sticking with Hollowtech II because it just works brilliantly. 08 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Looks just the job. Looks a good product at an excellent price. Easy to fit & feels smooth in action. Only done 150 miles so far so time will tell. Delivery was fast too. 20 May 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by must buy value is good , product is good and it serve what it takes. 09 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value its half the price of SRAM and it lasts twice as long 07 April 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but slightly heavy This is the shimano standard outboard bearing cupset. While you can go cheaper i would rather not since the weight penalty on this 105 is already bad. However it does what it says on the tin and does it well. These cups do last longer than the manufacturer says but if you live in wet weather take them out and re-grease the threads at least when you transition from wet to dry season or they will creak and i hate that. You can also make them last longer by applying some grease directly on the bearings halfway through their life as they can get dry. The plastic sleeve does do its job very well and keeps out the water. I did not have a hole in the bottom of my bottom bracket and had to tip over the bike to let the water out till i got it drilled. Even so i did not see any water penetrate at all. 20 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Why spend more? I can't see any need to spend more for an every day road bike. 03 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Will not die! Had this on my Scott CR1 for coming up to 6 years, its done probably 12000 miles through summer and winter! Its finally given up, so will definitely be ordering another one! 21 January 2014

Answer:
The Shimano 5700 105 Bottom Bracket will include the bearings within the External Bearing housings. These BB’s by Shimano are not serviceable. Once they fail/die then you need to purchase a new one.

Answer:
The Corratec Dolomiti ran a Hollowtech II standard bottom bracket for the R565 cranks so this 105 bracket should be fine, yes. To remove/ install the cups you can use a Hollowtech spanner such as any of the below..

Cannondale Compatabilty

I have a Cannondale Synapse with BB30 FSA Gossamer crankset. I want to upgrade to Shimano 105 5750 crankset. Is this 105 bottom bracket suitable and do I need to order a Cannondale BB adaptor as well to bring me back to 68mm?

Answer:
Shimano do not produce a 30mm axle chainset; they retain the 24mm BSA threaded standard for their bottom brackets so yes; you will need to fit an adaptor to the BB30 shell and then fit a standard Hollowtech BB into it before you can mount this chainset.

Yes, this ultimately would be the ideal setup; using the 105 Bottom Bracket with the Shimano crankset.

Answer:
No; FSA cranksets should only be used with their matching bottom brackets. The axle and seals are slightly different between Shimano and FSA, so although it could technically fit, it would be very tight and will not operate as smoothly. The Gossamer cranks require the BB-6000 series bracket, as linked below.

Answer:
Due to the spindle diameter of this crankset and likely due to the bottom bracket shell on your frame; BB30 pressfit bearings is what are required to run this setup.
