Rated 5 out of 5 by Delivery is fast with online tracking i.d. This item is wrapped in bubble-packs, received in very gd condition. 1st time order from CRC, excellent experience. **Thumbs-Up!! 07 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Muy cómodos!!! Este juego de mandos me encantaron: soy muy cómodos y ofrecen unos cambios precisos, y una frenada muy buena. Son un poco pesados, sin embargo por el precio ofrecen una gran calidad. 06 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by никаких нареканий возможно - более дорогие модели лучше, но я не знаю, что ещё можно улучшить. Работают чётко уже 4 года. А если не видишь разницы - зачем платить больше? 24 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shifters I bought these shifters to replace some ancient 9 spd Dura Ace ones on my lovely Colnago C40. They are superb, with a solid, quality build. They feel comfortable in the hand with everything in easy reach & a really smooth, yet positive action. The trim function on the front shifter is a cool feature & they come with gear inner cables fitted , and with a thicker set of shims to adjust the brake reach if required. In case you were wondering, they work just fine with the rest of the 9 spd gruppo on the bike including the chainrings, so get yourself a set of these, a 10 spd chain & cassette & pimp up your 9 spd bike! At this price they are a fabulous buy & the usual great service from C.R.C. 20 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bargain A penny less than £100!?!?! Purchasing these was a a no brainer. Problem being it prompted me to then carry on with upgrading the rest of my bike with 105. Easy to set up, athough the clamp bolt is a little tricky to access when the hoods are new and the rubber not terribly maluable. Looks very nice too. You've seen it written in other reviews, 105's reputation is well earned. As with others, no difference in performance to Ultegra (my summer bike is full so I can compare). I now have a winter bike that I want to ride more! Usual exceptional service from CRC too. 08 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice smooth shifting Bought this as replacement with to my broken Shimano 5600 lever. Works great with Shimano 105 5600 front d, rear d and ultegra bake caliper. 17 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent mid range STI Lots of trickle down features means this will be a hit with many price conscious buyers. It has pedigree and will work for at least 50k miles if treated right. My only issue is the gear changes are a bit sticky - probably due to tight bend radius coming out of shifter. This problem may bed itself in. 01 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fine Shimano as usual Good value and function if you cannot afford Ultegra etc 22 July 2014

Answer:
Yes you can use these shifters with your Dura ace, as long as they are 10speed of course.
Most of Shimano's gear in 105, Ultegra and DuraAce is interchangeable as long as you match the gear ratio, 10spd 11 spd etc, Happy riding -Matt

Answer:
Shimano 105 5700 levers will work fine as shifters with your 7800 FD/RD.
Brake calipers are a different story. 5700 pulls more cable than 5600 or 7800 levers, but you may not notice it. You MAY find it harder to pull, or more difficult to adjust, but I don't think it is a deal breaker.

Looking to upgrade 10 spd Tiagra Levers

Would I need to replace the existing cables? Are the internal cables that are included with the levers both for gear and brake? What size outer cables would you use?

Answer:
The shifters are supplied with gear inner cables only so you will need to purchase new brake inner cables.

Depending on the condition of your existing cables you may not have to change the outer cable. Below are the list of items I would recommend.

You can use your old cables/casing if they are ok. Only gear INNER cables are included in the box, no brake cables, no casing.
I can recommend jagwire sets, their are very reliable and lightweight

Answer:
The internal cables are for gear only, you would need to buy the brake cables and the outers for both separately. I would recommend replacing all cables considering you are pulling the system to pieces anyway, and the cost to replace all cables is minimal in the grand scheme. Yes this will help with shifting as new cables will not have any burs or wear from use.
Your outer cables should match the inner cables and generally the sizes match the application. Brake cables are a little thicker than gear cables. You can buy all sorts of colours for your outers though I prefer the black. Happy riding-Matt

Can I use these levers with Tiagra FD and RD?

Was wondering if it is possible to use these 5700 shifters with my existing Tiagra 4600 2x10 speed FD & RD? I would also like to know what benefits could come from this? (Better shifting, more durable, etc.)

Answer:
Yes, you can use any of the Shimano 10sp Road shifters and Road derailleurs together so using 105 levers with Tiagra derailleurs should be fine. Generally speaking, the difference between the groups is weight, stiffness of shifting mechanism and materials used. The 105 shifters will be slightly lighter and a little 'sharper/ more responsive' than the Tiagra levers.

Answer:
Going by the spec on your link, you are running a Triple ring system, so these Double shifters will not be suitable. You can opt for a Triple shifter Shimano road set, such as the 5703 below.
