Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Had these on my bike when first got it.As others have said scored the rims. The problem is that they are too soft so they pick up bits of metal from the rim hence scoring the rim.Best pads are the fibrax replacement v brake pads.Easy to replace pad and great price.Although they are thin they are tough with excellent braking.Use my bike regularly. These pads lasts me 6 to 8 months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous I had the same problem as a lot of people, that the pads scored the rim. However i put a different set on and they were fine. Perhaps it is the way they sit on the rims.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous my rims are over a year old and they're fine (X517's), ok the rear is scored but thats because i went downhill and wore through to the metal and shaved it rather nicely, but i didnt find them abrasive, but they seem very similar to deore, unexciting. overpriced though! a stick of metal shoved in a pool of moulded rubber, think of the production costs, pennies!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous I found these pads to work well in all conditions, BUT as with the above UserProfileReference, they have scored my rims terribly where they are so abrasive. BE WARNED!
