Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 74 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by top quality shoe for flat pedals After wearing trainers and pumps for years, i decided to buy some more suitable riding shoes. Looking into shoes most people recommend 5 10s but these shimano shoes fit the bill better more suitable for all weather riding with the cover over the laces and wipeable leather type material. Sizing wise i was unsure as i'm usually a 11 in shoes and trainers so i took a chance on a eu 46 size and these fit perfect not too tight or too loose even with my wide feet. I was expecting the sole to be super stiff but they are fine and i have no problems walking around in them either. 26 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very comfortable and protective. Amazing comfort. Ankle protection shape design that does its job against pedals. Good grip giving a good overall feel when riding. Lightweight considering its size. 11 June 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice shoes, but a bit awkward Nice cycling shoes with a good grippy and quite stiff sole. Unfortunately the stiffness does mean they're not great for walking and can't really be used as regular trainers. Raised ankle protection on one side and the upper cover does a great job of keeping water and mud out and protecting laces. However, this also makes tying and untying laces very awkward, and after having them for only a short time it is already creased. Overall I'd definitely recommend them, but I can't shake the feeling that there really should be a more convenient way to make a similar setup. 21 May 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Didnt wear too well but good at keeping feet dry, well, until the side disintegrated I have had these for 8 months now and was quite happy till the insteps disintegrated and are now letting the damp in. im still wearing them though and the soles are sticky and the rest of the shoe is fine. id have another pair at this price 08 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Shoe I owned the 2010 AM41s, and loved them so much I bought these. These are a significant upgrade from the old ones, and every change is for the better. One of the best things about these shoes is the ankle protection of the bike-side, and lack of it on the other. Just so much better than no ankle protection. Quite rightly they've kept the vibram sole - reason enough to buy these alone, but everything else has been upgraded. I really liked the green, white and black styling and motifs on the old pair, but the outer wore significantly faster than these new ones - these are much more waterproof. Would like to see some tasteful highlights on later versions. I like how the velcro cover is fitted to the front - the old ones had a greater level of adjustment, but the way the new ones are made means laces don't droop out of the front and is better for waterproofing. They actually have a greater 'breathable' area on the new ones than the old ones, yet manage to be more waterproof at the same time! The old pair fitted perfectly (size 8.5) but the lack of half sizes meant I had to go for a 9 this time, but to be honest once you're strapped in you don't notice much of a difference. The combination of laces and velcro is a winner - when i put them on and adjust laces/strap you can get them to fit just right so that you feel everything through the sole of the shoe - In my opinion this is the mark of a good shoe. I highly recommend these shoes - I have had lots of shoes, and still have too many, and out of all the pairs I've worn I can honestly say that only one pair I've ever owned have been more comfortable - they were some Osiris skate shoes, but I wore them out completely in 6 months (plus they were chunkier) - these have much more longevity. I don't normally write reviews, but these are so good I felt I had to testify as to how good they are. Even considering buying another pair for when I eventually wear these out, which could be a while. Just buy some! I would like to see the tongue-tabs back - they were very handy. Also would like to see the neoprene (i think) crescent section back at the top of the velcro strap - it makes it a bit comfier on the front of the ankle. Then they might be perfect! Love my AM41s! 08 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Shoes Bought this pair of shoes for a friend as he needed one for riding. Only 1 sentence from him. "Never felt so comfortable and it sticks to the pedals".... 08 May 2014

I'm after a pair of these what is the best eu size that would fit my size uk 11 feet? I had shimano xc30 in eu 45 before and they were too tight.

In past experience it seems that Shimano seem to be mainly the same size in most there shoe range. Hope that helps you or even go try some on in your nearest cycle store just to be sure.

Answer:
Hi,

I usually take a UK 11, sometimes this size can be a bit loose but I'm more often an 11 than a 10. I have a set of these in EU 47 and have a little bit of room in the toe in summer (certainly not loose fitting though), and in winter with thicker socks they fit perfect.

I'd start with the EU 47 and take advantage of CRC's excellent returns policy if you find them too tight.

Answer:
Hi, I would get a 46. I am about 11, maybe a bit bigger and I looked at the size guide and got a 46 which leaves me with about 2cm extra room at the toes which is fine for me.
