Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 53 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by great shimano product as we have come to expect been using these for a few months now and i can not fault them. straight out of the box there ready to go. nice and easy to set up and no need to break them in, just as comfortable as my every day Fox trainers. i've had a couple of offs and caught my feet on a few trees and stumps all with the shoes protecting my feet. also to add the laces cover is brilliant and i now don't get any grit gravel or twigs in my shoes now. 18 April 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent lightweigtt shoe but one minus feature Would be better if they had better grips when off the bike for climbing as they can be slippy but otherwise a good shoe 08 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 03 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect SPD shoes! Perfect SPD shoes for downhill! Great quality and cheaper. 02 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 awesome!! really comfortable shoes, perfect with shimano dx pedals. the stiff sole makes pretty hard to run very fast wearing these shoes but there's no need to run in DH. 27 March 2014
26 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 ottimo prodotto per qualità e prezzo Veramente delle scarpe eccezionali. Ottime anche per le stagioni più fredde, molto comode e robuste e soprattutto facili da pulire. Secondo me la taglia dovrebbe corrispondere, anche se qualcuno consigliava un numero in più 23 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product Definitely recommend this product been using them for about 3 months and have no regrets. A little heavy but you don't realise when riding only when walking. 20 March 2014

Answer:
The shoes and the pedals that you have mentioned are both MTB products and can be used together.

Most shoes will work with MTB clipless pedals unless they are specific to a certain product.

Answer:
Not entirely sure what you mean... But, the general rule for Shimano shoes is to purchase a full size up from your normal.
Shimano shoes are usually a narrow fitting.

Answer:
My shimano road shoes are 46 which I suppose is a uk 10.5, these am shoes are a 46 and fit great as well. I personally cannot comment in needing bigger shoes other than this.

My normal shoes for the street are a 10 in UK size, my mtb and road shoes are a 46 which is half a size bigger.

If I were you I would go for the nearest size to your conversion but the half size up.

Hope this helps.

Cleats and Pedals

Would these shoes work with Shimano SPD-SL PDR 540 Road Bike Pedals and Shimano SPD SL Fixed Cleats? If not could you recommend which pedals and cleats to go for with these shoes?

Nope, these shoes are MTB shoes and not road shoes.
You need to purchase a pair of road shoes to use them with the pedals and cleats you mentioned.

Answer:
Hey, so far as I know the pedal and cleats will be fine, the shoe has a large area that looks like it will accept any cleat

I run m530 shimano pedals personally, I have a Set on my road and a set on my XC bike and cannot recommend them enough, think they are on sale now at 20 quid on crc. Worth looking at for sure as are light and great pedal.

It might sound a silly question but I am wondering if I can use them on flat pedals too..
I use cleat pedals on my XC and flat pedals on my FR bike.

Thanks!

Answer:
There is another shinano shoe for flat pedals, I think it's called the AM50 . . . It's the same shoe as this, looks the same etc but made for flats spk has no cleats.

Good value, great shoe.

Answer:
Pretty much no issue what so ever. The cleat sits up inside the shoe so you don't actually feel the metal cleat pressing into the pedals - just the sole of the shoe connects with the pedals....however I'm guessing if you have long pins in the middle of your FR Flat they might catch slightly?
