Rated 5 out of 5 by Noticeable improvement Bought these as replacements for the Tektro pads (P453) that came with the bike. A noticeable improvement in braking power and smoother too. Direct replacement for Tektro and easy to fit. 08 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by nice quality good quality and easy to recharge.................i got them black, not like the picture. 03 May 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product at a cheap price I got these as my old ones were extremely worn, they have definitely brought the bite back into my brakes. Nice quality finish as with most Shimano gear. 11 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shimano Product Good Pad replacement even if your running a lower level. Say for instance Tiagra etc. 27 October 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Faultless These pads do just what you want them to. They stop the bike. I do not know what more you could ask for. 17 October 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great upgrade for lower spec brakes The pads that came on my 2011 Sora spec road Spez bike were hopeless, bordering on dangerous! But a quick upgrade to these pads transformed the braking and for under £20 for both ends :-) CRC say these are 105 spec, but I looked up the part on the Shimano web site and found that these pads are used on 105, Ultegra & Dura Ace brakes! So strange they are not sold as Dura Ace. So in short, great cheap upgrade. 17 July 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by OK to fair Came on the bike I've got. Seem to be wearing OK having done about 900 miles in wet and dry conditions they seem to be about halve way through on the back and about the same on front. The wear seemed much more noticeable in the wet than dry so imagine they would be good for around 1500 miles in wet and 3000 in dry looking at my milage. Had other types of brakes pads on mountain bikes and old road bike and they seem OK. I.e work well in both wet and dry conditions and give reasonable wear. Will probably try cheaper replacements before spending £10 though as have had good results from Clark and Aztec brands before and they are available for half the price. 10 March 2012

These brake pads are fully compatible with the Shimano BR-561 brake calipers. They share the same mountings as the origional brake pads that are supplied with the BR-561 brake.
