Rated 5 out of 5 by Good piece This is the third time I bought this piece and always felt very satisfied with it. I mean, not much to say, it's a chainring. 04 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by shimano chainring Can't fault this chainring, always bought when drivetrain components are needing renewed. 16 November 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great replacement for alloy chain-ring I replaced my original alloy chain-ring with this and it has been great. Yes it's a bit heavier but I'm expecting better life from this one. 18 June 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by good value & hard wearing Bought this for my FSA Moto crankset and it fits just fine, I've run it for two years now and its on its 3rd chain, shows no sign of excessive wear and still shifts well so no need to replace it just yet, will buy another one as a replacement for sure. 06 May 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Cheap not all that cheerful Reading the reviews on here I decided to try these to save some money. At first I was happy enough, that was until I bent one. So I bought another one and that bent on the second ride, so bad that I had to use a rock to bend it back just to get the bike home. Trying a Middleburn this time. 26 January 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by FITS TRUVATIV FIRE X CRANKSET Great value middle ring to replace the sharktoothed alloy one from my 2 year old Truvativ Fire X crankset. It's always a good idea to have steal in the middle ring as you use it more, so this was the perfect way of extending the life of my set up without throwing it all out. 12 August 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid Steel Used on a Dual Ring 26-36. Unbeatable performance, especially for the money. 09 December 2010

Answer:
The Shimano technical documentation recommend the use of M660 chainrings for the M552 10 speed cranks. Shimano cranks need specifically detailed chainrings to ensure compatibility.

A suitable middle ring for your cranks can be found below.

Answer:
The Bolt Circle Diameter on the M510 and M442 crankset's are the same (104mm); however chainring spacing may differ slightly once installed.

This can be rectified by using 1mm washers should they be required.
