Rated 5 out of 5 by Pablocarlos Solid, reliable
Good, reliable product from Shimano at affordable price. Maybe it is bit heavier than more expensive Bottom Brackets, but it comes with more strength and resistance to damage.
Fitted my 22 years old Roadie perfectly and allowed me to upgrade chainset.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Stiff but not too durable
I'm on to my third one of these now. I think each one lasts between 1 and 2 years depending on how much riding I'm doing. It's super-stiff, smooth, cheap, and very easy to fit, but doesn't last as long as square taper varieties due to the smaller bearings. This is the issue with Octalink and ISIS BBs: the fat pipe means less room for bearings and small bearings soon wear. But then at this price, changing it every year or so doesn't really bother me too much.

Almost as good as XT bottom bracket, infact there is almost nothing in it.
So save yourself the money and enjoy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous very good,
used for 18 months and its still going strong, no worries about the plastic cup as its fine when fitted beween the BB & frame.
runns very smooth and lasts well, can take a a bit of abuse bit it is best suited for XC.
very good over all.
