Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous What a price! They are stff, light and last well enough.A decent middle ring can be bought for the money you save! Get one before they go even if it's for a later date. Bargain!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Average for your money
Competitively priced and in terms of return for your investment not bad. I ran these on my Santa Cruz Juliana and even with the right bottom bracket size dropping down to the granny gear was a problem. Chainrings lasted 1 season as per other reviews. Apart from that lasted 2 years and then replaced. They did their job and thats it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Long life and great value
Ive had this set for over a year now with the splined LX BB too. no play in the BB, and a little chain suck is starting to develop with the middle ring, but if you keep you chain oiled it causes no problems. Overall, a very good set, well worth the money

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Poor Interface
Avoid the Octalink Interface!! Have had a couple of these and know a few others with problems too. Have tried with and without greas, wouldnt recomend them with out. They stay tight for a bit but if you do anythinh more than smooth xc they will start creaking! The Rings dont last and the pick up pins on the outside ring snag the chain occasionaly.
Aside from that they are fairly light and reasonably stiff for weight/price.

Very strong in comparison to the square taper as i snapped 2 sets of the square version in about the same time period i've had these (coming up for 2 years. Only complant is that the bb bearings wear out fairly quickly, but better that than snapping the axel and mashing the cranks! Would buy again.
