Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 44 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent entry level pedal Installation of the pedal is straightforward, time is required setting the cleat for efficiency and comfort but once done they perform admirably. They rotate smoothly on the spindle and have required very little maintenance to keep them so. They still look good despite having put 2,500 miles of cycling on them and are showing no sign of failure (replaced cleats after 1,700 miles). Balance of the pedal could be improved slightly, as occasionally the pedal rests in the wrong position when the foot is out making clipping in a little precarious, particularly as your foot slips over the pedal should it not engage. Disengaging from the pedal is easy and can be adjusted to suit the riders level of experience. Value for money is excellent, I would recommend them. 16 September 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good first SPD pedal Fitted these to a 1990s Peugeot I was given as a way to try road cycling on the cheap. The pedals on the bike were shot anyway, so I decided to go with a basic SPD setup. I'm pleased I did, and these pedals have been great. I've yet to come unclipped accidentally, and haven't had any embarrassing topples because I can't get out of them. I do sometimes find it a fiddle to get clipped back in to set off from junctions when coming to a complete stop is unavoidable, but it's only a minor irritance. I chose white, which are starting to look a little grubby, but I'd say the quality is pretty good for the £20 or so I paid. They're still running smoothly. 15 September 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Value and Quality Very good quality at a nice price. You don't need to pay extra if you are not a pro. Working perfect and fine. 14 September 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pedals I prefer these to the MTB clipless pedals I had previously. These seem to give far more support. 05 September 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by cant beat them for value excellent price to quality ratio. definitely a good place to start if you're a beginner rather than spending a fortune on a set that will probably feel no different to these. 26 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect match Up to now have used my MTB shoes on my road bike but have now switched to road shoes / pedals. Perfect, feels a better contact than other pedals 25 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by 12 August 2014

The light action version is easier to release your foot from, I guess the spring is not so strong. I have light action on my summer bike and standard on my winter bike apart from easier release I can see no other difference.
