Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 35 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top value for money road pedals They are flawlessly built, fairly light, easy to install and adjust. They look perfect to me, they work as they are supposed to work, I guess thy will serve me for many years. Totally happy with them, great choice for this price. 16 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excelent Pedals These replaced R540 and 105 old pedals and are definitely improvement. Look good (r540 looked plain). Perform well. Excellent Value.. 16 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My first Clipless pedals! These are my first clipless pedals, so I dont really have anything to compare them to. I have put about 100 miles on them and they are great. I have the tension setting on the lowest setting and find it easy to unclip, and have not had any unintentional unclipping while riding. I would recommend these to anyone looking for their first set of clipless pedals, I am sure there are people that have to have the lighter, more expensive pedals but for my fitness/recreational riding these are the perfect pedal for the price. 15 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Product - worth considering over the R540 Upgraded to these after using the R540's for 8 months, and getting a new bike. These pedals are easy to fit, with a pedal spanner or 15mm cone spanner. Adjustables & standard metric ones don't fit properly. Compared with the R540's, you have a slightly bigger platform to push on. The binding is slicker. Defiantly worth the extra £10 (brought for £30) over the R540's. 08 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really good pedals for the price Great price for a really good pedal. I recommend you get the black pedals as the grey one isn't so appealing. These are my first clipless pedals so I don't have anything else to compare them to but I really appreciate the quality of build so far. 03 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by easy to use and good value This is my first road pedal. Very easy to use and really like it. 02 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great price, Great pedals Bought these as they were reduced and seemed a good choice for entry level and first set of clipless pedals. I was not disappointed these are a cracking pair of pedals and suitable to my riding style. Fairly light, look great and easy to fit. Only one fall since purchase..luckily on a grass verge. 02 September 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good so far Got these as an upgrade to an aging pair of 540s on the commuter road bike. Been great so far with little to no issues - only done about 120kms of commuting on them as yet. Engagement is slightly better than the 540s, although they don't always rotate to the tip up position when unclipped. That said, it's not too big an issue as the 540s didn't always do that either... All seems good, and for the price I'm certainly not complaining. 29 August 2014

I plan to use these for commuting after dark. Pedal reflectors are a legal requirement in the UK when riding on public roads after dark.

Do these pedals come with reflectors? If not, are Shimano SM-PD58 reflectors compatible?

- No, these pedals do not come with reflectors.
- Shimano SM-PD58 reflectors are not compatible with these pedals. (Shimano SM-PD65 reflectors are required).

Hello, when I first put these on they seemed very hard to get out of compared to old SPDs, even with tension on the lowest setting. Should they or the cleats be greased and with what? I have some Muc Off dry chain lube and I was wondering if that would work on them?

Answer:
Generally speaking you shouldn't need to grease the cleat engagement points; it's normal for new cleats to be held in place much tighter than worn ones. You can smear a light coating of grease on the pedal spring if you wish (or if your cleats are rusty). The grease will allow slicker engagement and release when using your pedals, but they should free up naturally with use (I recommend simply resting against a wall somewhere and clipping in and out multiple times; it builds muscle memory and eases the engagement).
