Shimano Ultegra 6600 10 Speed Chain

  • Hyperglide (HG) series 10-speed compatible chain, recommended for Ultegra drivetrains. HG technology has chamfered inner plates to optimise shifting performance on HG sprockets.
  • Durability is assured through a chromising treatment on link pins, and the heat treatment of rollers, pins, and plates. Mushrooming of the pins gives unsurpassed side-plate retention, enabling the chain to far exceed the BS/ISO standard for breaking force.
  • 5.88 mm chain width, optimised for 10-speed SuperNarrow HG drivetrains.
  • Zinc-alloy silver finish on outer plates, and grey finish on inner plates increase corrosion resistance.
  • 114 links, 280 grams.
  • Colour: Silver
  • Option: 114 Links
  • Speed: 10 Speed

Rated 5 out of 5 by The smoothest shifting chain to use on a Shimano Drivetrain I ordered these chains to replace the SRAM chains that seem to come standard on most mid range road bikes. I replaced 3 of them on our family's bikes and everyone notices how much smoother they seem to run and shift. 14 August 2014

Answer:
The distance between the rear axle and the chainrings on a bike can vary between manufacturer, model and often frame size.

114 to 116 links are the longest chains commercially available and it would be advisable to count the links on your current chain in reference to these numbers.

If this is not possible then it would be best to go for the longest chain available (generally around the 114 link mark for a triple crankset) so the size can be configured.

A chain breaker would also be required.
