Rated 5 out of 5 by Vladi Works much better than 105 5700 front mech
My bike came with 6700 shifters, but 105 5700 front mech. I was not please how it shifted, it required quite a bit of effort to shift to the large chainring. So I upgraded to this Ultegra 6700 front mech, and I am glad I did. Before upgrading, I read opinions on forums, and in general it was said that Ultegra is just the same as 105, only lighter. I found this not true. Not only is the shifting smoother and quiter, it also requires way less effort to shift to the large ring. This is very important when shifting from the drops. Overall a great product, recommended, and well worth it.

Rated 3 out of 5 A Step Backwards in Quality
I was really surprised by this front mech compared with previous 6x00 series mechs and with the rest of the 6700 groupset; the build quality is noticeable poorer;
- the internals of the parallelogram feel like they are made from resin rather than alloy - not sure how well this will wear or how stiff it will be.
- the shifting plates are made from what looks like chrome plated alloy that is quite flexible - nothing like the ultra stiff grain finished plates of the previous series.
- the bottom of the shifting plates are now rivetted rather than screwed together.
Overall feels like something you would expect to see on a Tiagra mech, not Ultegra.

This measurement is 33.3mm. This clamp would be to big. You could measure the seat tube in mm to give a more accurate guide as to what will fit. If you have any questions please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
