What size I need

I want to order a shimano ultegra 6800 bottom bracket. How do I know if I need a 68mm or a 70mm. I have a Kuota Kharma 2009.

Answer: 
You can contact your local Kuota dealer for confirmation, or simply measure the width of the bottom bracket shell on your frame:
68mm or 73mm is English thread
70mm is Italian thread

The direction of the threading on the cups will also be an indicator; English cups are left hand thread on the drive side, and right hand thread on the non-drive side. Italian cups are right hand thread on both sides.

If you measure your bottom bracket shell you'll know.

Otherwise make sure that you get a 68/73mm BB which effectively covers both widths (use the spacers and instructions provided).

This bracket will fit a standard English (68mm) or Italian (70mm) threaded bottom bracket shell. You'll need to have your local bike shop or Pinarello dealer help you to confirm which standard your frame is running. The Hollowtech II brackets can be fitted/ removed with Hollowtech Spanner tools such as those linked below.
