I love the fact that I can get Ultegra blocks for such a reasonable price and so I have just ordered another two pairs. I used these on my French touring ride in July and they just worked well, as you would expect of Shimano kit.

So I got these to replace my original Ultegra brake pads, out of the packet the plastic body looks a bit cheap and if you're very fussy it doesn't match grey calipers but I guess they went for something in between grey and silver.
On first use I noticed a huge difference in breaking so they work well and also in the wet they proved very good. I am however a bit surprised at how quickly they have worn but in saying that I have been putting in the miles lately and most of these have been in wet conditions with gritty roads so probably not too surprising.

Easy to fit and good braking performance. I would have preferred them in black but that don't affect the functionallity...

These took a while to bed in, which may be the reason for the previous comment. However I found that after a few rides they worked just as well sa the originals.

I bought these pads are a replacement for the original ultegra pads that came with my brakes. The originals had a metal body, these ones are plastic which must make them flex.
Braking is pretty poor and a lot of pressure is needed to stop.
My wife's bike has the same brakes with original pads and brakes much better even when I put my wheels on it.
I would suggest looking for something with a metal body.
