Shimano Ultegra Di2 10sp STI Levers Double 6770
Professional riders have been using the Shimano Dura-Ace components with Di2 electronic shifting technology in the biggest races in the world over the past four years: over the highest mountains, in the most extreme weather conditions and over the worst possible roads and cyclo cross tracks. Now it is time to introduce this revolutionary technology into the Shimano Ultegra, making it available to a much wider group of road racers and enthusiasts.
The advantages of Di2 (Digital Integrated Intelligence) are clear for everybody who has tested it: changing gears becomes easier, effortless and faster by simply touching the shift buttons. Control at the top of your fingers. Additional benefits include an automatic trimming front derailleur, unmatched precision plus super easy installation and adjustment.
Shimano Ultegra 6770 series with Di2 technology consists of Dual Control Levers, electronically operated front and rear derailleurs, a battery and electric cables.
The electric cables include only two core wires (DURA-ACE Di2 has four) and the connectors are smaller too with a diameter of 5.1mm (-3.7mm compared to DURAACE Di2). Easy plug and play system to connect the cables, Connection with PC for diagnosis and changing the shifting order.
The SEIS (Shimano Electronic Intelligence System) is based on the Shimano Index System (SIS) that has proved its superior gear changing characteristics over the years. The big difference is that in this case, the shifting action is provided for by electronics instead of mechanics. Ergonomic STI levers knows just how much control they have over all components. With Di2 technology, shifting is even easier and more precise - just a light touch, as soft as a mouse click, is sufficient for the front or rear derailleur to instantaneously select the correct gear. Shimano riders will be used to them immediately since all the buttons are in the same place as on regular levers. The distance between the lever and the handlebar is adjustable. This makes it extremely easy to brake and shift even for riders with smaller hands.
The products are not compatible with DURA-ACE Di2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TumshieHeed Simply Amazing
Running the non-Di2 generation of these levers was great, however, the Di2 iteration is simply amazing.
The button operation [as opposed to the manual cable] is superb. Slightly firmer that a mouse-click the selection is clearly registered as you touch-click. Gloves do dull this somewhat and this may be a consideration for some, especially in the winter if using heavy mitts.
No more manual trimming of your front derailleur cage. The auto-trim system is flawless, so the lever will never be used for manual trimming.
The rear derailleur setup and adjustment is far superior to the previous cable operation. When swapping out cassettes/wheels this makes your downtime less and your adjustment perfect. Cable-stretch is eliminated and consequently post-installation adjustment minimised.
Aesthetically, the levers are very pleasing. However, you will mark them if you drop your bike or you are not careful about leaning on abrasive walls.
Comfort on the hoods [I am speaking of the shape here] is equal and perhaps superior to the previous versions. The hood material, however, is not as grippy when wet as the old 105 version, in my opinion. The rubber of the hoods does become less grippy with moisture. Gloves may help, of course.
Clearly these electronic levers are pricey, however, CRC is giving a great deal, comparatively.
Coupled to the Di2 system these levers are simply fantastic.
