This chainring is a 9 speed item so would not be compatible with a 10 speed chain.

This middle ring is listed as compatible with the M770 only, although it is likely a trickle down design from the XTR group, so I would expect it to be ok. The direct replacement from Shimanos can be sourced via your local dealer using the part numbers from the exploded diagram (http://techdocs.shimano.com/media/t...)

I have a 10 speed set up currently and my rings need replacing. I have purchased the inner and outer 10 speed rings but also need the middle ring. is this suitable ?
