Rated 5 out of 5 by Работает как надо хороший переклюк, работает как надо. откатал с ним пока не много, надеюсь и дальше все будет хорошо 26 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great value This product is so good I run it on all my bikes, my nomad had sram components till they snapped off in mid ride so swapped to xt and they have been flawless. 20 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value Fairly basic as front mechs go, but does the job. The case is a bit fragile, I've had to replace it when my wife crashed on it and bent the cage, but I was quite happy to get the same one. 08 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice derailleur Bought this to replace my old deore bottom swing, because needed top swing for new frame. It was easy to install and there comes good shimano istructions with it. Switching is very smooth and fast. Very pleased so far. My cable comes from top, and it is installed directly to derailleur. If your cable comes from bottom, it goes around it. I use it with Shimano MTB Deore M590 Triple Chainset 175mm-22.32.44t. 27 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very smooth mech. Easy to fit. Great mech. Would recommend to anyone. Nothing more irritating than grindy gears!! Plus no annoying cable cutting a diagonal from the frame getting full of gunk. 18 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Не совсем то, что я хотел На сайте не было отражен размер переключателя. У меня большая звезда на 42 зуба, а мне прислали переключатель на 44-48. Этих данные не были отражены при оформлении заказа. 03 February 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Rubbish Bought this for my 2013 nomad and it fits fine and works great if you only want to use the small ring. It won't move up to get into the bigger ring because it hits the bash guard so I had to grind it to get it to fit. More hassle than its worth. 01 October 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by 02 June 2013

Answer:
As User-Camppis has stated, the 34.9mm band size is what is required; making any option usable.

However it would be best to select the 34.9mm option so there is no need for any of the shims and the fitting will be tighter.

Answer:
The diameters refer to the seat tube diameter that the clamp will fit. They are all 34.9mm as standard, but supplied with varying shims to suit the different size seat tubes as required.
E/DM suggest the E-type/ Direct-Mount style of derailleur, which is held on by the bottom bracket cup or mounts directly to lugs on the frame. They are usually listed separately to the standard clamp on style

Answers

Answer:
This is the Top Swing (Low Clamp) version as pictured and coded; the M771 (linked below) is the Conventional (High Clamp) style.
Both mechs are dual pull so you can route the cable in from above or below as dictated by your frame.

Answer:
This derailleur is compatible with your bike as long as it matches the seat tube sizes available. The design is different because the clamp and derailleur body are closer to each other.

The traditional version is like this one: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/...

Answer:
The Specialized DMD mount is simply a Shimano E-type derailleur with the backplate removed and bolted directly to the frame instead. You can use the E-type M770 (linked below).
