Rated 5 out of 5 by Buen producto Componete de una calidad evidente y muy buena funcionalidad 30 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Robust and responsive Very responsive to use and has not become corroded after 2 months of weekly use and total neglect with regards cleaning. I found it easy to set up initially and it has still not needed adjustment. 02 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by quality component good strong reliable quality mech at a good price easy to set up and use 01 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by All pros, no cons Shifts nicely, looks great, feels like it's more rigid than the 10sp shadow models. Pair it with the shifter below, choose a cassette to your liking, play with the adjustment screws a little, and just enjoy the ride! A good, reliable rear mech at this price is a bargain anyways. Unless you have a really good reason to get an expensive XTR, I suggest you go for this one! 08 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by smooth Fitted this mech as a deore replacement item and very impressed, Changes well and looks good. Previous barrel adjuster wasn't compatible with it but bought a suitable item cheap enough 24 January 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Something was wrong!!!! To hard to rig. Could not get it rigged. Only ever worked well in one direction. Change up and it would not change down well. Adjust the cable tension one notch, worked well down but not up. In the end it got snapped off going down a rough track. Brought SRAM. 22 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome rear mech Bought this one after long research as to which one will fit suit my bike and it is awesome. The shifting is smooth and precise and once adjusted to both high and low ends the chain runs smooth through it just sweetly. Using the ezyfire shifters the bike came with and no dramas at all. 20 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hard to beat Replaced an older XTR rear mech with this unit. It may not be as light as XTR but it is far more robust, better looking and once set-up provides consistently accurate shifting in all conditions.Also bought a matching M771 front mech and the everything works like a dream. 11 December 2013

Answer:
The length of cage is generally determined by the number of chainrings on your front crank;

If you have a single chainring up front, you can use a Short Cage
If you have a double chainset, you can use Medium Cage
If you have a triple chainset, you can use Long Cage.

Pretty sure the 08 S-Works Stumpy ran a triple chainset as standard, so the Long Cage derailleur should be fine.

Answer:

Answer:
Tiagra is a road component while XT is MTB. Shimano recommmend not mixing these components together, although the cable pull and spacing is very similar, so it would work. For optimum shifting performance though, you should match Road with Road and MTB with MTB.
