Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 70 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Shimano Quality Its a rotor, it works well, easy to fit and comes at a good price :-) 19 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sharpens your braking These rotors are great value. I fitted them and replaced my pads at the same time and now have a set of brakes I can really trust. One rotor came with bolts, one without 14 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stops like nothing else!!! Fitted to my Pitch Pro and mated to XT discs, what an awesome combination!!! Daren't use two fingers on front lever, face plant city!!! 12 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best rotors on the market !! Awesome set of rotors, for peanuts as well, the pics don't do them justice, I purchased them shortly after my zee brakes and what a set up ! 09 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic, strong and light Only bought one disc to upgrade front rotor to 180mm. Im really impressed with the build quality. They are half the weight of my 160's and feel twice as strong. I have decided to go 180 rear as well now!! Don't hesitate, they are the best discs i have had! 05 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great quality rotor! Got these in 200 and 180mm versions for my new Deore M615 brakes. Amazing power combination with sintered pads! Rotors run true and the spider really helps keep it rigid. They look fantastic too! 03 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fantastic rotor Excellent looking and feeling rotor that cools well and does exactly what it says on the tin. One problem, I bought two of these from CRC, one came complete in the original Shimano packaging, the other in a CRC bubble wrap bag. The one in bubble wrap appeared to have lost the rotor specific washer and had to be fitted without. 02 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Rotors Combined with decent brakes these rotors will assist in keeping it all cool and stopping in a timely manner. My default disk/rotor when short of cash. 02 July 2014

Answer:
The majority of Shimano rotors is intended to be used to their full potential with organic pads.

You can use easily use them with sintered but they will wear the rotors fast. The metal pads will work fine too but they will effectively destroy them in short time. Metal pads will also squeal like mad.

Any pads will do but they will wear differently and they will affect the wear of the rotor too so consider that when buying pads. Start with sintered as they are perfect for majority of applications and then upgrade if necessary.

Answer:
The shimano rotors are quite a lot thicker than formula rotors so I would advise you don't mix and match otherwise you free stroke on your levels might become non existant.

Answer:
You would certainly be able to use the Shimano rotor along with your Formula R1 caliper. Most rotor are a standard thickness and are therefore cross compatible.

Крепежные болты есть в комплекте. Для установки понадобится ключ Torx. Можно купить в любом строительном магазине или магазине инструментов. Размер ключа не помню. Я ставил на тормоза Shimano, на счет совместимости с hayes ничего сказать не могу.

Shimano no longer supply these rotors with the Tri head bolts so therefore the fixing washers are no longer required.

This rotor is supplied with the 6-bolt shim, but no washers.

Answer:
Hi Todd, RT76's are the older version of the XT rotor but still provide great stopping power when paired up with Saint 4-pot calipers, which i'm using on an Intense 951 (203mm rotors). The Ice Tech version is called RT86 and is available at CRC, reasonably priced!
