El cambio venía perfecto y con los buenos acabados que tiene Shimano pero venía en una bolsa de plástico. En la descripción de producto no decía nada al respecto.

Rated 5 out of 5 by frankbike1 leggero ed efficente praticamente perfetto

This rear mech is great as long as the trail is clear. As soon as the terrain get rough, you run the risk of the carbon cage breaking. Shifting couldn't be sweeter on this thing, but if you ride rough rocky terrain it will not last long.

Great mech for shifting but poorly designed. The bracket axle unit is the weak point. It is so weak that this will break ahead of the rear hanger. Also it is very hard to find the replacement part and 99% of local bike dealers will say the whole rear mech will need to be replaceded because Shimano reps will say the part cant be sourced and in most countries this is the case. If you ride on flat tracks with no chance of sticks and rocks hitting the rear derailleur then you should be fine with no problems. 2 stars for crap design.

Sure they weigh nothing ...trouble is, they break at the bottom end of the swingarms. Went down to my local bike shop to see if I could get a part, he pulled out a box of them mostly broken in the same place, and told me that you can get the part for 90% of the whole deraleur.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous The carbon arm is too flexible and the protective cage at the bottom breaks off. If the going gets tough this one is too soft. Same thing happened twice to me. Rather opt for the M970 with the aluminium alloy arm. Much more durable. If weight is not a big consideration go XT.

Really nice light bit of kit but I have a couple of issues with it.
Firstly the jockey wheels are not sprung strongly enough backward so chain tension can be a bit lower than ideal.
Secondly the carbon side plates are just not strong enough for trail riding. One of mine got taken out by a twig and i had to order one new carbon plate for £35 or so which took weeks to come and the second time the chain slipped off the jockey wheel and broke off the loop of carbon under the lower jockey. Retired the mech and got XT instead, alu plates = much better idea!
